@MSSinfo Welcome to Wikipedia. It is difficult to create a page about your organization as it is difficult to maintain a Neutral Point of View WP:NPOV, include information that is Verifiable WP:V, and not contain any Original Research WP:NOR. Likewise, creating an article like that may be difficult as it may involve a WP:COI. However, if you draft something in your Sandbox and cite WP:RELIABLE and WP:INDEPENDENT published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy, I would be happy to take a look. I posted some resources to begin editing on your Talk page. FULBERT (talk) 12:09, 29 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Ajai wurld Welcome to Wikipedia! When working on an article about a person WP:BLP, all information should be presented using a Neutral Point of View WP:NPOV, include information that is Verifiable WP:V, and not contain any Original Research WP:NOR and also cites Reliable WP:RELIABLE sources to demonstrate Notability WP:N in general and specific Notability in People WP:BIO. Creating or editing an article about yourself is often not encouraged as it would present a WP:COI. FULBERT (talk) 12:06, 29 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, on the David Pakman page, I suggested an edit (the page is protected) but the instructions stated to specifically state the suggestion in the format "change x to y". I did this, however I didn't provide any additional context or justification for my suggested change. Was I supposed to/allowed to? --Taftun (talk) 20:51, 30 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Taftun Welcome to Wikipedia. It is a good practice when you make a comment, suggestion, or article discussion point on a talk or discussion page to provide evidence for what change or point you are trying to communicate. In the example you provided, it was not clear why you were suggesting what you did or how that connected with the citation that already existed. Please also note that an editor also gave a warning to you about editing related to a WP:COI. FULBERT (talk) 10:46, 31 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Question from Santas guard (03:58, 1 September 2025)
Hi, do you know how to report an article for having a bias? There was an article about Donald J Trump i was reading and it was very strongly biased against him, not a single positive thing was said about him. I don't follow politics very much but he must have done SOMETHING good right? --Santas guard (talk) 03:58, 1 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Santas guard Welcome to Wikipedia. Issues with bias should generally be raised on the article Talk page, citing reliable WP:Reliable sources. However, know that certain articles that are related to topics of possible controversy, such as some related to poltiics, moral issues, religion, and the like, have a lot of people who watch the articles to try to avoid bias. I hope this helps. FULBERT (talk) 23:57, 4 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Development
Mobile editing of statements: We developed the first pieces of the edit mode as well as the ability to add statements. You can always follow along on beta Wikidata and find more information on the project page.
Wikidata integration in the other Wikimedia projects: We are continuing to look into reducing the number of changes that show up on Wikipedia and co's Recent changes and Watchlist (phab:T401284)
Federation: We looked at previous requests to add new endpoints to the list of SPARQL endpoints you can federate with and are cleaning up the process for getting new ones added. If you have one you'd like to write federated SPARQL queries to now is a good time to request them.
Lexicographical data: You can now limit searches to Lexemes with a Lemma in a specific spelling variant with the haslemma keywords and to Lexemes with a specific language with the in language keyword. Examples: 12 (phab:T271776)

Wikimedia Futures Lab: Apply before Sep 4 to join The Wikimedia Futures Lab, the in-person convening hosted on January 30 – February 1, 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany with participants from affiliates, contributors and external experts, to learn more about global trends and discuss potential movement-wide responses.
Wikimania 2026: The theme and date for Wikimania 2026 have been decided: Liberté, Équité, Fiabilité (Freedom, Equity, Reliability). This edition will take place in Paris, from July 21 to July 25, 2026.
Tech News: Some of the latest updates from Tech News week 34 and 35: An A/B test comparing two versions of the desktop donate link launched on testwiki and English Wikipedia for 0.1% of logged out users on the desktop site. The experiment will run for three weeks, ending on 12 September; Administrators can now access the Special:BlockedExternalDomains page from the Special:CommunityConfiguration list page. This makes it easier to find.
Community Wishlist: Template authors can now use additional CSS properties, since the CSS sanitizer used by TemplateStyles was updated. These improvements are a Community Wishlist wish.
Wikipedia Mobile Apps: The Android app team has launched a new experiment in Italy that lets logged-out readers of Italian and English Wikipedia set their own donation reminders based on how often they read. This new approach responds to feedback from donors who say their motivation to give is tied to their reading habits. Instead of one-size-fits-all banners, readers can now choose reminders that fit their own usage, all while keeping their privacy intact.

The Members' Meeting is similar to other WikiWednesday meetups, except that its primary function is to elect new members to the Board of Directors. We will elect three board seats – half of the elected seats on the board – and the elected board can appoint up to five more board members. As part of the Members Meeting, we will also focus on the Wikimedia NYC Programs Plan for the coming year, our Financial Report, and Annual and Monthly event teams for the coming year.
Election info:
To run for election or to vote, you must be a dues-paying member of Wikimedia New York City, having renewed in the past 12 months.

Hi Fulbert. I am ready to submit a new page for a performance artist that I have worked on for few months. Can I already try to do that? --Dubagibbi (talk) 09:22, 5 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Dubagibbi Welcome to Wikipedia. You can submit a new article whenever it is ready, providing of course it has in-text citations per WP:CITE to show how reliable, third-party WP:INDEPENDENT published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy WP:RELIABLE are used to provide evidence for your claims. These will then help create formatted references per WP:REFSTART. I hope this helps. FULBERT (talk) 13:29, 7 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
An RfC is open on whether use of emojis with no encyclopedic value in mainspace and draftspace (e.g., at the start of paragraphs or in place of bullet points) should be added as a criterion under G15.
An RfC is in progress to amend the structure, rules, and procedures of the Arbitration Committee election and resolve any issues not covered by existing rules.
@Guylaen Thank you for your question about this tag. Some of the language used in the article, such as "Her hatred of opium was a passion," "In 1942, Wright came to loggerheads," and "having only the year prior been instrumental" does not seem consistent with WP:WIKIVOICE. I had still marked the article as reviewed as I saw these issues as minor and easily fixable that should not stop the article from being widely available. FULBERT (talk) 13:46, 7 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If these are the only instances, these are easy fixes. Thank you for the clarification. BTW, I am still in communication with the Library of Congress about finding out where the hell her box is. They have mislabeled it I think. Guylaen (talk) 14:03, 7 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I think, for the record, that that qualifies more as under the Tone hatnote rather than Neutrality. I have no connection to this person whatsoever, and I don't really care as long as the facts are straight. Guylaen (talk) 14:05, 7 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello FULBERT. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Danielle Cohn, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Sources in the article are sufficient evidence of importance to negate A7. Use WP:AFD if you feel delettion is needed. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 19:45, 13 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
