I have edited Guzheng. This is the diff. I have played Guzheng for many years so I am happy to edit some knowledge about this instrument. I added the relationship between Guzheng music and people's Live. ~~~~ YangyangF (talk) 07:41, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
For this week, I choose the article of distance education. I found the section of covid-19 for distance education was mainly criticizing the disadvantage that distance education bring to both instructors and students. So, I add one sentence describing the advantages I read from one journal. It is impressive to see one section barely mention the advantages side.
@Jessssy Your edit was removed by another editor. Please reply here that you saw the message from the other editor and that you understand what it means. I will then review and you will be current for this week. FULBERT (talk) 01:05, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
I changed to the article of COVID-19 scams. I found the scam type in this article is missing something that the US government has sent fraud alert before. So I add this type of scams in it.
I edited the article Body shape this week. I added two citations in this article here. I found this article from the SuggestBot and I think this is a convenient tool to use for finding articles need improvements. Kathyljy (talk) 07:08, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
I have inserted a new paragraph with a citation about Charging station in North America. I concluded the current number of charging stations in the United States according to the data published by U.S. department of energy. Here is the diff. After I have finished adding and updating the section in North America, I learned how to contribute my knowledge and searching ability to help others get better understanding current progress of building charging stations in the United States. MichaelNhy (talk) 19:22, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
I edited the Powered exoskeleton this week. I added the latest information about the product to the article and cited an article to support my point. Here is the diff: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Powered_exoskeleton&diff=1120071326&oldid=1115626342. I am very interested in the product introduced in this article. Because I think it will not only change the way wars are fought in the future, but it will also have an impact on the lives of ordinary people. For example, helping people with leg problems or even helping disabled people regain mobility. These are all possible uses for the product. QiweiDuan (talk) 00:16, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
@FULBERT Hello professor, I have finished Week 2, but there is a little problem in Week 3. I have left you a message. Can you check Week 4 now? thank you QiweiDuan (talk) 02:36, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
I updated the article called TikTok. I added a section under Demographics talking about Gen Z users where I cited from a source and added my own personal comment right after. Here is the diff. This article was interesting to me because of how much social media shapes our world today. I like how this week focused on plagiarism. I learned that even if you change the words, keeping the same structure of the sentence is still a form of plagiarism. Sp6796 (talk) 00:47, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
I edited the Electronic cigarette this week, and I'v added an information I think its needed with cited. Here is the diff [1]. After read and edited to this interesting article, I've done some research on the topic of Electronic cigarette. I found that there are more and more researches beleive that the Electronic cigarette has less potential benefit related to somkers and thats interesting for me to know. Lbw119 (talk) 07:18, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
I edited the flood this week. I added a point about people experiencing starvation in floods in the health effect section. Here is the diff [2] I found there is an information gap about the topic in Wikipedia, so I made it up based on the reference article. Also, the reference article is related to the topic of my research paper which can provide support for my views. VenusL (talk) 11:07, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
I edited the Ticket (admission) this week.I have added more about NFT ticketing, also I have added a reference to NFT.Here is the diff [3]. This article taught me about the various forms of tickets and their features, and it also taught me that old tickets have some historical significance. Throughout the history of tickets, electronic tickets are destined to become mainstream.BL33701 (talk) 14:50, 5 November 2022 (UTC)

I edited Comfort object. Here is the diff for my edit. I added more common objects for comfort, such as the crib cards or "cheat sheet," commonly used during student exams, and I think we have all been using them during our academic careers. I have learned how to edit and cite my edit using Wikipedia, and I also realized that we have to be more careful if we want to use some of the information in Wikipedia. Olivia0831 (talk) 06:54, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
Hi Dr. Keefer, I assigned this article in the Wiki Edu Dashboard, could you please take a look at that? Thank you so much! Olivia0831 (talk) 04:40, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
For Week 3, I edited the Gap year article. Here is the link to the diff, I feel a bit more comfortable with editing. In the second week, I reviewed the lecture recordings on how to properly edit and cite but this week I did not do that and just remembered what I did last week so it was a smoother process.
In the Gap year article, I added another motivation for students taking a gap year and I split the Description section into 2 paragraphs because I noticed the top part of the paragraph focused more on the reasons students take a gap year while the bottom part of the section discussed what happens during a gap year and the effects on students who take a gap year. --Janyu150 (talk) 20:41, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
This week, I edited the article ByteDance. The diff is here. I found this article from Wikipedia articles in need of updating from October 2022. The list shows the articles needing help. You can go to Community Portal>Update with new information>More>Subcategories. Hope it find you well and help you choose the article. JayHTCVPN (talk) 07:12, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
@JayHTCVPN Citations alone generally do not add value. Beyond adding a citation alone, make sure to provide a sentence or two within the article itself to express your contribution in context (which the citation will support). This will demonstrate how your addition adds to the overall knowledge in the article. Please add a sentence or two to the article you edited and then ping me here when done. I edited the Coffee this week. I added information in the Roast characteristics section about how the degree of roasting affects the brew color of the coffee, and also added a citation. Here is the diff. After reading and searching academic papers on the degree of roasting of coffee, I learned that the degree of roasting of coffee has an effect on taste, color, flavor, aroma. Rheaxx666 (talk) 20:04, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
I edited Augmented reality page by adding application examples of AR in the "Urban design and planning" part, because the information in the original version was limited in this part. Here is the diff. Omnicass (talk) 00:30, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
I edited the article on Plastic pollution. The diff for my edit is here [2]. I added more issue about the effects of plastic pollution on the environment. I learned more about how plastic pollution will effects of the world. And looking forward to learn more about environmental knowledge. Sssara7 (talk) 01:51, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
I edited the article Screen readerwith the following dif. I found that claims that are obvious to those of us who work with assistive technologies every day are not obvious to the public. Finding a peer-reviewed article was a bit harder, and underscored that perhaps I should consider adding literature on this subject. The one possible issue with my contribution is the additional reference to a manual of one of the screen readers, which may not be considered a good enough source. However, it perfectly illustrates in detail what the section is attempting to convey.
Cabanehippopotamus (talk) 02:22, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
The ariticle I add the citation is about the One-child policy. I add the part of detail about the reason leads to the gender inequality in China. Here is the Diff. [1] Throughout the citation again, I think I am getting better in adding a citation to the article. I hope the work could provide more information and better understanding to the reader. Riven3388 (talk) 00:36, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
The article I edited is Organizational culture. I add another type of organizational culture called risk-aware culture, which is the current topic I studied from my other class. I did not find relative information in the article, so I add a brief introduction and use my textbook as citation resource to elaborate on that. I was surprised to see there's lack of information as risk management is so important nowadays.
I edited the drought this week. I added a point about land degradation in the environmental consequences section. Here is the diff [4]. The point I added is one of the results of drought which can make the section more detailed and comprehensive. Through three weeks of practice, I became more and more familiar with how to add gap information to Wikipedia. VenusL (talk) 10:39, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
I edited the Electric Truck this week by adding one more section under electric truck contribution. Previously this Contribution section only contains 2 aspects: electric truck in California and electric truck in South Korea. I added one section briefly talking about the electric truck in China. diff is here.Xj416 (talk) 13:48, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
I edited Chinese tea this week and I added some information about tea therapy. Here is the diff. After this editing, I know that in order to change the article, you have to have proof. I can't edit Wikipedia until I find strong evidence in the database. XingboGao (talk) 19:44, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
@XingboGao You have not completed any of the previous weeks' assignments as requested. Please do those before I review this one. Ping me here when complete and I will review. FULBERT (talk) 19:00, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
I have added more details with a citation about Electric car charging methods. I concluded the method to actually realize the wireless charging for electrical cars. Here is the diff. After I have finished adding and updating the section, I believe I have helped the readers to further understands the real process of wireless charging. MichaelNhy (talk) 01:16, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
I edited Talk Show. Here is the diff. There is lot of new Chinese shows nowadays, and there is no section talking about Chinese talk show in Wiki page, so I would like to add on more information about it. Olivia0831 (talk) 05:12, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
@Olivia0831 Your edit was removed as being a copyright issue. I already gave you credit for this, though in light of this administrative action, please either edit this article again or assign a different article and do that. I will give you another week to get this done so you can work this in. If you need to email me for clarification, please do so. Ping me here when done. FULBERT (talk) 18:38, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
This is new edit diff, I have fix the contents, it should not have the copy right issue again. And for Week 4 I want to add more on this article. Olivia0831 (talk) 01:34, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
@Rt2510 I reverted hour edit as you included information about the US employees that did not fit in the disadvantages section you included it within. Please either select a new article and add a new edit or re-edit this article with a more helpful and objective piece of cited information and ping me here when done. FULBERT (talk) 01:57, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
@Rt2510 Your edit does not fulfill the Wikipedia policy of using reliable, third-party WP:INDEPENDENT published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy WP:RELIABLE. Always use a reliable source, such as an academic journal article or another high-quality reference, as discussed in the assignment and class. Avoid blogs, corporate websites, reviews, press releases, sources where we cannot determine author expertise or bias, and opinion pieces as they generally do not count as reliable sources. Please either assign yourself a different article and add a credible source that is needed to it or find and cite a more reliable source to the one you edited. Ping me here when done, and I will review. FULBERT (talk) 01:56, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
That edit is not ok, for three reasons (in order of importance). It is a close paraphrase--the edit therefore seems unacceptable already. But also it contains your opinion about something ("harsh"), or else that word is evidence that you are only using a thesaurus on top of the original source rather than understanding the topic or writing an original sentence. And no matter how it's written, the idea is completely redundant to the next paragraph. Please find a gap in content so you can improve our encyclopedia. DMacks (talk) 22:24, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
You are also now seem to be using multiple accounts, which creates an accountabilibty problem. Which one do you want to keep using: Rt2510 or Rt25101. DMacks (talk) 22:25, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
@Rt2510 @Rt25101 Users are not permitted to use more than a single account, at least not beyond specific needs for one, due to concerns of WP:SOCK. As our work in this Wiki Education effort has your account connected with @Rt2510 per how you signed up for it here, I would suggest you may want to use the original account. If you want to change to a new account, you will need to follow the link we provided in our course space to connect the new account. This must be either clarified or done before I review any more as we need to ensure our tracking is consistent. Please ping me here with a reply to on how you want to handle this and then I will continue reviewing. FULBERT (talk) 18:28, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
@Rt2510 OK, so please use this and only this account in the future. Your edit was reverted due to your source, which was a workshop and not a journal article. OK for now, though ensure you use higher quality sources in the future. Current with week 3. FULBERT (talk) 19:43, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
Removed as a copyright violation. User:StellaJiang333, it's important that you write totally in your own words using ideas from the source, rather than actually copying content from the source. DMacks (talk) 18:07, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
