The Research team at WMF is running a second labeling campaign to evaluate the Revert Risk model for Wikidata. This is part of ongoing work on creating a new generation of Machine Learning models to support patrolling work on Wikimedia projects. Please help by going to this link, and labeling each revision in one of these three categories: Keep, Not Sure, Revert. Notice that "Not Sure" should be used in all cases where the Keep or Revert labels are not clear to you.

WikiProject Heritage Collections - The aim of the present project is to create the world’s most comprehensive high quality database of archival fonds and heritage collections (including contemporary scientific collections or documentation holdings) and to ensure the interlinking of respective catalogues, finding aids, or collection databases with Wikidata.
WikiProject Events and Role Frames - The primary aims of WikiProject Events and Role Frames is to define a set of properties that consistently model event occurrences and their participants; to fill gaps in Wikidata regarding items for events and actions; and to encourage use of the proposed model and newly introduced items across Wikidata.

I edited Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education and here is the diff. I found that there was no mention in this Wikipedia of the impact of online education on students or students' perceptions, so I researched the literature in this area and found possible advantages for students. I also edited Mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic and here is the diff. Through the literature, I found that women still attach great importance to the impact of COVID-19 on future generations, and 1/3 of families may choose not to have children because of that. PortiaGui (talk) 01:15, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
@PortiaGui A plagiarism detector identified your edit on the Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education article you edited as too close to the original text. Please re-edit what you added to include more of your own words and further differentiate what you added from the original source. Ping me here when complete and I will review. FULBERT (talk) 15:09, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
@PortiaGui This other edit was also found connected with plagiarism, likely from taking a source too close and with too many words too similar to the original source. Please see the feedback that was left on your own Talk page about this and reply to me about your thoughts with it, and then you will be done with Week 6. FULBERT (talk) 01:34, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
Week 5 / PortiaGui
This week, I edited the article Duffy the Disney Bear and here is the diff. Linabell is one of my favorate Disney characters and I found that there is no introduction to Linabell's appearance in the Disneyland on Wikipedia, so I added it. I also edited Hong Kong Disneyland and here is the diff. Hong Kong Disneyland expanded this year and added a new Frozen World, which was not updated in Wikipedia, so I updated it.PortiaGui (talk) 00:39, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
@PortiaGui Your edit does not fulfill the Wikipedia policy of using reliable, third-party WP:INDEPENDENT published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy WP:RELIABLE. As discussed in the assignment and class, always use a reliable source, such as an academic journal article or another high-quality reference. Avoid blogs, corporate websites, reviews, press releases, sources where we cannot determine author expertise or bias, and opinion pieces as they generally do not count as reliable sources. Please either assign yourself a different article and add a credible source that is needed to it or find and cite a more reliable source to the one you edited. Ping me here when done, and I will review. FULBERT (talk) 15:04, 22 November 2023 (UTC)

Week 4/ CORNELIAST
This week I edited two articles. The first one is about OpenAI where I tried to add recent information about its collaboration with upcoming wearables AI created by Humane here's the diff. However, it got reverted.
The second article talks about Learning Management System where I added information about more mediums that can be utilized for async and sync learning. Here's the diff.
The feedback received mentioned that the content sounded too commercial. I'm eager to gain a deeper understanding of this feedback, as I perceive the information shared to be in line with collaboration and feature updates. Could the perception of a paid article be influencing this feedback? I'd appreciate any insights you can provide. Thank you CORNELIAST (talk) 02:02, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
@CORNELIAST I re-read the other editor's feedback and think it could have seemed a bit commercial-like, when you said, "This product marks one of the pioneering devices striving to incorporate a ChatGPT-powered voice assistant" -- that language sounds like a marketer tring to promote the work of Humane. While that was not likely your interntion, it was the words "pioneering device" which sounds promotional, and thus reverted. Good question about this; current with Week 4. FULBERT (talk) 01:34, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
week6/ Lotsobear555
This week I edit the article about Cendol which is a type of dessert in Asia. I added more information about Cendol in Malaysia, here is the diff . Another article I edited is about Education in Thailand. I added more information about student uniforms at Mahidol university ,here is the diff. This week I learned how to edited more articles and getting used to it, nice exercise! Lotsobear555 (talk) 22:23, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
This week I edited this article Thai temple art and architecture. I added more information about Thai temples and how is it important for Thai people in Thailand. Here's the diff. The second article I edited is about white coffee. I added information about white coffee in Singapore. Here's the diff. This week I learned how to edit wikipedia and I'm started to get use to it and understand it more. Good exercise! Lotsobear555 (talk) 20:34, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
@Lotsobear555 Please assign yourself these articles in the Wiki Edu Dashboard and then ping me here. Also, the first edit you did points to a database and not an article itself. Please fix that citation in the edits and ping me here when done. I will then take a look at it and reply. FULBERT (talk) 18:03, 16 November 2023 (UTC)

Impact Module
At the beginning of November 2023, the Growth team deployed the New Impact Module to all Wikipedias. We recently released a follow up improvement to how edit data was displayed based on editor feedback. [1]
Developers can find some initial proof of concept code shared on gitlab.
Mentorship
When a mentor marked themselves as "Away", they were not getting their name assigned to new accounts when they returned. This has been fixed. [5]
We improved the message received by newcomers when their mentor quits, to reduce confusion. [6]
We worked on ensuring that all mentees are assigned to an active mentor. This required reassigning mentees with no mentors to a new mentor. We paused this as the clean-up script confused some editors. We will resume it when the identified blockers are resolved. [7]
It is now possible to create an Abuse Filter to prevent one user from signing up as a mentor. [8]

Hi Professor, I modified the changes in the article Women in STEM fields, here is the diff.I have added authoritative data from UNESCO to add specific data on the large number of women out of school around the world. Ritalyo (talk) 02:25, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
I inserted a picture for Duffy the Disney Bear and here is the diff. I took this photo myself.I've noticed that there seems to be less about Duffy and his pals, the Disney pals, here, unlike Disney in Asia, so I've added a photo I took myself at Hong Kong Disneyland.
For this extra assignment, mostly I edited the article based on Covid-19. I find that the subsequent effects of a pandemic, including all walks of life, are now very comprehensively understood, but the research is also endless, so there are still some parts that need to be added. This includes editing Wikipedia, which is also a process of making the public's knowledge better and better, so that more people can be informed of the latest knowledge and progress in the relevant fields. The reason I chose to continue editing is that I think I have found many new ideas and discoveries in my field of study, and I think that adding these new things to Wikipedia will make more people aware of and concerned about these issues. PortiaGui (talk) 19:56, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
@PortiaGui Nice edits on this final article, and thanks for the overall feedback on this. I hope you find Wikipedia editing useful and continue with it. Let me know in the future if you ever need any support or help with it. Current with Week 7. FULBERT (talk) 00:29, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
@ChrisMisu Nice edits overall, but please finish all parts of this assignment for this week and then ping me here. I will then take a look at it and reply. FULBERT (talk) 00:32, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
