Week 5 Assignment - VogueRover7 (talk) 20:39, 2 December 2018 (UTC)VogueRover7Hello Professor, these articles have added the names of the players. For this article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_India_Tennis_Association I have added a new section named as Rio Olympics and for this article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nike,_Inc. have added the name of tennis players sponsored by Nike.
** BONUS ** (one EXTRA point!)-VogueRover7 (talk) 21:22, 2 December 2018 (UTC)VogueRover7What your experience was like (overall) with this Wikipedia course assignment. We search for information when we need information and the first search option was Wikipedia. It feels good to contribute to Wikipedia and be part of the community that edifies everyone with the information we need. What you learned. The first thing that I have learned that it was very important to have a verifiable and accurate information presented in the article as many people rely on the information that may not be factually correct in another internet searches. Second it I was important to have an effective communication with the author and express the correction or edit you are planning to introduce. Third, it is important to maintain the authenticity of the picture without violating any copyrights. Why / why not you intend to continue editing on Wikipedia. It great to have a medium or a community in which I can share and discuss the information we all rely on. It will also provide a mean to correct any wrong information that may be misleading and cause any kind of inconvenience.VogueRover7 (talk) 21:22, 2 December 2018 (UTC)VogueRover7
Week 6 assignment VogueRover7 (talk) 21:08, 2 December 2018 (UTC)VogueRover7Hello Professor, I have added the picture for the article.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_India_Tennis_Association

Week 6: Introduction to Creative Commons_Michael_LSYHi professor, here is the link Mobike and Ofo_(company) for week 6 . Please check the new content.--Michael LSY (talk) 21:37, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
** BONUS ** (one EXTRA point!)_Michael_LSYHi professor, here are my answers for bonus. What your experience was like (overall) with this Wikipedia course assignment? I like the Wikipedia course assignment, the articles are written in neutral point of view. I can learn lots of knowledge by reading Wikipedia. What you learned? I learn how to add new content and citation in articles. In this process, I know the sentences in articles should be proved. That's great. Why / why not you intend to continue editing on Wikipedia? I intend to continue editing on Wikipedia. It's a good place to learn knowledge cause you can believe the content, and if you have question with the content, you can search the citation to make a sure. I would like to edit because I want to follow the news and update the news to Wikipedia. For example, a promising sharing economy business model in this year may lose customer in the next year. So by continue editing, the Wikipedia content will be updated. Best regards--Michael LSY (talk) 21:57, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
Hi Professor, please see these two articles in which I have added some content https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoking_in_Norway and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pisaurina. Thank you Kmas 77 (talk) 02:57, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
Hi, professor please see these two articles where I have added images. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_City_Air_Terminal#Information_and_ticketing and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jockey#Women_jockeys. Thank you Kmas 77 (talk) 03:41, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
Hi Professor, my experience working with Wikipedia has been very positive. I started this assignment knowing very little about how Wikipedia worked and I mostly thought that it was people adding content to articles but I didn't know that the quality assurance process was so meticulous and well supervised. Getting to participate in adding content and editing articles has been very rewarding as a contributor and user, I now have a deeper understanding, respect, and appreciation for this website and the importance of the work all its users add to it. I have learned the importance of citing articles properly and using appropriate content such as media photos or videos in order to protect the content and properly credit the owners of the material. I also have learned that most of the information within Wikipedia is fact-based, I use to think it was like a blog where people wrote their opinions on certain articles, I intend to continue adding content to Wikipedia for articles that are low rated in order to practice what I have learned during the 6 weeks and gain more experience, then I can move on to more important articles where I can provide and add vital information to them (without getting chew up by the more experienced Wikipedia users). Kmas 77 (talk) 03:58, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
week 5 (yt1416)Hi professor, these are the two topics I edited. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Humour&action=history https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Shenzhen&action=history Please check--Yt1416 (talk) 04:12, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
Extra point (yt1416)What your experience was like (overall) with this Wikipedia course assignment? It was great. I never thought that I would help editing topics/articles on Wikipedia one day! What you learned? I was surprised when I know that actually everyone could edit the topics on Wikipedia. And now I know how to edit and help improve the content of an article. It's important to be neutral and the content we put on wikipedia should be able to traced back to a reliable sources. Why / why not you intend to continue editing on Wikipedia? I would like to continue editing on Wikipedia for the topics/articles I'm interested in. For example, Shenzhen is my hometown and it has been ranked second on the list of ‘top 10 cities to visit in 2019 by Lonely Planet. I added this information to the Introduction of Shenzhen. I'll keep editing for other topics on Wikipedia, sharing the latest information or knowledge with others. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yt1416 (talk • contribs) 04:40, 3 December 2018 (UTC)

** BONUS ** (one EXTRA point!)_Tongxin Liu1. What your experience was like (overall) with this Wikipedia course assignment. A really unforgettable experience. Thank you for providing the opportunity to have access to edit the wikipedia. It’s hard to imagine that I can edit the wikipedia by myself before this class. Because I thought only experts can do this work. I realized everyone can edit the wikipedia after enough investigation about the specific field. 2. What you learned. I learned the importance of doing research. After the abundant research, the accurate conclusion can be made. If there is not enough research, the conclusion will be uncompleted and biased. 3. Why / why not you intend to continue editing on Wikipedia. I will intend to continue editing on Wikipedia after this class. Because I find there are many articles which don’t include the related images. Images provide a more direct way to understand and I often enjoy taking photos in daily life. I can combine my hobby with editing wikipedia which is really a meaningful thing. So I will continue to edit on Wikipedia and add more images to provide a more direct way for people to understand the related articles.
