Medical edits
Hi there,
I’m interested in contributing to the medical pages on Wikipedia. Do you have any recommendations regarding where to start? I’m happy to help wherever there is the most need currently. DataFocused (talk) 02:51, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@DataFocused, there are many areas and WP:MED keeps a list of articles of varying quality. I would suggest you consider your area of interest, rather than medicine broadly, or even just something that piques your interest right now, and then seeing whether there is anything Start or C-classed there. I would suggest you read WP:MEDRS and WP:MEDMOS to get an idea of quality of articles. Then I would suggest introducing yourself at WT:MED, where there is a steady stream of discussion on articles needing improvement. CFCF (talk) 03:34, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, the conclusions seem pretty solid, but just a note that the chiropractic page is using a lot of 15-20 year old reviews. May be worth you or another regular medical editor taking a look. DataFocused (talk) 06:31, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
