Video linksVideos aren't ideal sources for Wikipedia because it can be difficult to WP:Verify them. For this reason, it's important to provide the timestamp where the statement is supported. Additionally, the links you added in this edit aren't working for me and since they're bare urls I have no idea what video this even is. (t · c) buidhe 22:56, 29 December 2021 (UTC)

As I said on the Talk page, I think we need to first clarify critera for who we are including otherwise we will have an ongoing situation where various editors keep adding and deleting leaders based on their own criteria. For example, if we are going to include Mehmed Talaat Pasha and Ismail Enver Pasha, then why not Ahmed Djemal Pasha? Was Wilhelm II really call the shots in Germany throughout the war? Was Franz-Joseph any more that a figurehead? Aemilius Adolphin (talk) 22:55, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
Ottomans and WWIHello there I reverted you recent changes because they were mostly unsourced and reflected your own interpretation of events. I suggest you look for sources which support the facts and interpretations you provided. Your proposed change to the lead looks promising, but it probably needs rewording. It would be better if you started a discussion on Talk and seek consensus for your change to the lead. Happy to discuss on the talk page. MehmedThanks for your explanaton. I didn't know this. So are you saying the First World War Allies would have operated almost at will in "the Turkish lands" as wellas having the mandates of Syria,Palestine,Iraq etc, with armed forces in Turkey and trading on their own terms? If so this is certainly changing the meaning cosiderably. It needs a source and further explanation in the body of the article I think. Spinney Hill (talk) 23:43, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
