September music

story · music · places

My story today, pictured on the main page, is about the best concert I sang (on 1 September 2019), and references for the article were collected by Brian Boulton. - Do you think you could add lilypond to BWV 110 some day before Christmas? -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:00, 1 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Today another giant's music: Canto General. Listen if you like it really big and emotional, with the composer as the conductor, in Chile, after years of suppression. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:57, 3 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I will do BWV 110 sometime soon! DanCherek (talk) 04:12, 4 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, nominated, and it should be rather simple, - one of few where the cantata ends in a minor mode (or rather modal) while the first movement was brightest trumpet D major. Strong melody, know from Christmas Oratorio! - I enjoy a DYK that pictures a person together with achievements in art. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:01, 7 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Unusually, iit has now already a lilypond from the first movement ;) - As you will know, Arvo Pärt is 90 today. Did you know that it tool me some trouble to get him to the main page? Listen! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:41, 11 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Today is the birthday of the 16th Thomaskantor after Bach, remembered. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:44, 20 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
My 100th biography to the Main page in 2025 is Siegmund Nimsgern. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:55, 22 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
John Rutter 80 today! I sang his major choral works with four choirs, and many of his uplifting anthems, 13 DYK? I watched him explain his Magnificat in person in 1998, and now see it on Youtube: he wore the same outfit. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:13, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Permission to update the Wikipedia page for the School of Communication and Information, Rutgers University

Hello, greetings from The School of Communication and Information (SC&I), Rutgers University! I am disclosing to Wikipedia that I am a full-time employee of the School of Communication and Information at Rutgers University and therefore I am being paid while I edit the Wikipedia page for the school.

Would it be permissible for me to update the content on our page? We would like to, if possible, update faculty names (and remove the names of faculty who have left) and perhaps update the rankings, number of students and faculty, and perhaps make other corrections. I would be happy to post all the content we intend to update here on my talk page for review and approval before posting. Thank you very much for your help. Best wishes, Carol Peters, SC&I Public Relations Specialist CHeherPeters (talk) 20:36, 7 January 2025 (UTC) 2600:4041:454F:BC00:D5EE:50AB:9ED1:4F83 (talk) 18:43, 11 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
