--Lajmmoore (talk) 10:58, 29 July 2022 (UTC) via MassMessaging Improvements to Rakhine people and related articlesHi @Hybernator, I wanted to bring your attention to inaccuracies I've spotted in articles related to the Arakanese. I recently noticed uncited additions to Arakanese language (see [1]) speaking to the existence of a "Rakkhawunna" script that pre-dates Burmese (something that is not supported by historical evidence). Similar additions were made to corresponding articles in the Japanese, Burmese, Chinese and Thai Wikipedias. At least for the English article, I have finally found time to clean up these unverified claims using available sources. That said, I started going through Rakhine people and noticed similar claims, which has made me a bit concerned that there is an attempt by users to distort historiography to advance specific interests. Open to your thoughts on how best to address inaccuracies, specifically in the History section, which do not corroborate with History of Rakhine. I think the biggest incongruity is around the timing of when the Arakanese settled their present-day homeland (10th-13th centuries) and the existence of civilizations by peoples who were present in the area before the Arakanese. Similarly, the treatment of List of Arakanese monarchs likely needs to mirror the approach used for List of early and legendary monarchs of Burma (which clearly ). --Lajmmoore (talk 20:43, 29 October 2024 (UTC) via MassMessaging QuestionHello bro, I'm Hein. I recently searched for other Burmese native editors who are currently active on Wikipedia and found that you’re active and the most senior editor. I'm facing a few issues with my article Pabhāvatī during the DYK process. Although my DYK nomination was already promoted, the case has been reopened, and the article needs some copyediting and assistance with the {{religious text primary}} tag. As you're one of the leading DYK promoters in the Myanmar project, could you please help me with these? I have a lot of experience, but this tag is new to me and challenging to address. Thank you very much! Thank you for your valuable contributions to the amazing Burmese history-related articles. I sincerely apologize for not translating the Burmese chronicles article into Chinese as I had intended. I still find it challenging to fully grasp the content and translate it accurately. I would like to ask if you are familiar with the Shan chronicles. Do you know which of them have been translated into English? Additionally, how many of them have electronic copies available in either English or Shan? If possible, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to obtain an electronic copy. For now I have Hsenwi Yazawin only. Please let me know if there are any materials or documents I could provide in return. I would be happy to assist in any way I can. Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
