It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dai Pritchard (talk) 04:59, 1 May 2015 (UTC) On Pyrrhic WWIIFirst, welcome to Wikipedia. It's an amazing place where so much gets done, all by thousands of volunteers. To make it work, we've developed some guidelines. In this case, see Bold, Revert, Discuss. After a change has been reverted, the next step is not to put it back; that's termed an Edit War, and is not seen as constructive. Instead, the next step is to start a new discussion thread on the article talk page about the proposed change. We have developed a lot of guidelines over the years. No one is required to know them all before editing, though; we all watch over each other. Please continue to be Bold. Thanks! --A D Monroe III (talk) 15:06, 7 July 2015 (UTC) Hi, FilBox! Your edit summary indicates your reason for doing so is because the Commanders and Leaders section is meant not only for high ranking officers and political leaders in the war, but also for other notable figures. With all due respect, that is not the purpose of that section of the Military conflict infobox. As indicated at the template page, "only prominent or notable leaders should be listed, with an upper limit of about seven per combatant column recommended." The article currently lists 18 Americans, many of whom were no more than company commanders in the war. The result is a cluttered infobox that does not provide the clear information for which it was intended. As a result, I intend to once again remove the names of some of the more low-ranking officers from the infobox, but will wait to do so in case you wish to comment here first. Some users are trying to add it to the page, but I just don’t see it being the same as Joe Louis's. Two of Inoue's fights during the streak were for the WBA (Regular) bantamweight title. See below link to an interesting article discussing this situation: https://www.worldboxingnews.com/naoya-inoue-wba-record-controversy/ P.S. this is also probably a good time to confirm whether or not Louis's fight against Johnny Davis is considered a title fight or not.
