Hello! Welcome to my talk page!
|
Please feel free to to leave me a message, whether it's informing me of something I screwed up, just to say hello, or anything else! I won't WP:BITE!
I have a few requests that I hope you'll respect while posting here:
- First and above all, be civil.
- If you don't agree with an action I made—be it reverted you and left a warning, marked your page for deletion, or anything else—please be calm and polite. I am a reasonable man, and we'll straighten it out a lot quicker without screaming and name calling.
- Please sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~)
- Please start new conversations at the bottom.
- I generally like to keep conversations together.
- If you post here, I'll reply here and leave you a message informing you of my reply.
- If I leave you a message on your talk page, I'll keep watching it, but if you want to make sure I notice it quickly, leave me a {{talkback}} template (although not necessary).
- I'll admit, I don't always keep conversations together, although I try to. If we separate the messages, no big deal, I'll probably go back and cross post here.
Since that is out of the way, please click here and leave a message!

How can you undone someone's post without seeing it? At least you must check it once where its promotional or not? Williamchan2 (talk) 12:09, 12 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Um... I did see it. It is obvious that you are trying to plug in Webkul in as many articles as you can however you can since the website already had to be blacklisted. You need to comply with WP:PAID. Apparition11 Talk/Contribs 13:46, 12 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- @Williamchan2: In fact, these are how many times you and your IP have spammed Webkul.:
- This is not counting the other account doing it, which I will also collect when filling out a spam report. Apparition11 Talk/Contribs 14:04, 12 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Thanks for your reply, but it is not necessary that it is spam every time. When someone takes your service, is it spam to show it to their wikipedia page? Also, I saw all the links you gave, many of them are not even mine, but you sent them in my name. I agree that spamming is wrong but you should also look at the context. Or if you just see that this person has edited something then he must be promoting it. Williamchan2 (talk) 04:19, 13 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Which of those edits are not yours? This edit was obviously you. The rest of the edits are from the same IP or your account. Is somebody else using your account? I feel we need to straighten that misunderstanding out before I respond to the rest. Apparition11 Talk/Contribs 10:44, 13 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Hi, I only have the Williamchan2 account. And you told me in your first reply that I have to follow WP:PAID. Can you please explain in detail what this is? Williamchan2 (talk) 12:35, 13 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Also tell me how to add any brand name without being promotional. Williamchan2 (talk) 12:37, 13 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- I only listed one account. Are you saying that 122.184.75.2 isn't you logged out? It is obvious you and other accounts are affiliated with Webkul. According to the Terms of Use, one must disclose affiliations with entities that you are editing about. You also should not add the name of companies you work for into articles yourself. You cannot just plug in a brand name into an article to name drop it. It would have to be reliably sourced and have an encyclopedic reason to be mentioned. Webkul spamming has been going on for at least 8 years. The page Webkul had to be protected from creation (WP:SALT). The site had to be blacklisted. Spamming of companies is a very common thing unfortunately, but it usually stops after blacklisting. I'm starting to wonder if we will need to create an edit filter so even the name cannot be listed... Apparition11 Talk/Contribs 13:18, 13 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
