Reply from Sam Perkins

Hi --

I got your message re a turn-down of the Matthew Rizai bio. The thing is, I didn't mean to submit it -- I'm pecking away at it and wanted to save the changes. It's pretty skimpy and wouldn't have submitted it like that. You can see a standard of my work at the Wiki entry, Propaganda kimono, which was my first.

Unless you suggest a better way to do it, in future I'll save my draft versions in Sandbox until I'm ready to post -- if that day comes, and assuming Sandbox is the best place for the draft. Let me know.

Sam

@Sam Perkins: Your best bet mate is to cut your message out, and repost it over at User talk:Winged Blades of Godric, where the owner of this page now resides (as they might not see it here- it's stricly a moribound page). O Fortuna!...Imperatrix mundi. 16:14, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Rejection of Article Submission

Hi,

Thank you for reviewing my article about Andrew Taee.

My page was put up for deletion because it did not demonstrate a person of significance. I later contested the deletion on the grounds that this individual was a person of significance due to his high profile career, political connections and charity work. Unfortunately, it wasn't reviewed fast enough.

Nevertheless, my draft have previously been rejected for multiple reasons such as: - Lack of references - citations e.t.c. I corrected my article to meet all the requirements, therefore I don't understand why it was put up for deletion. Could you please advise how to go forward as I am very keen to get this article live.

Thank you

your edits on my proposed submission

hi there, i am new to wikipedia and tried to submit an article on 'self balancing wheelchairs' but it was rejected and the comments were that it was not deemed a notable topic, nor had sufficient acceptable references on them. we are trying to propose a new item...it is not a wheelchair but serves a similar purpose. i'm not sure it would be found if we layered it under 'wheelchairs' and wanted to discuss it with you further. thank you Anna Annaweltman 20:10, 5 April 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Annaweltman (talkcontribs)

Page About to be Deleted

Hello, My article on "Softcom Limited" was flagged down by you and put under "about to be deleted". I will like to take it off the "about to be deleted " tag. I don't know why it was flagged. The article is not promotional neither is it a type of advertising for the Softcom brand. I just feel they are doing a great job in spreading and developing literacy through technology in Africa and having them on Wikipedia will be a great way to encourage them to continue a good work and also inspire other people like me who are growing digital entrepreneurs.I will like to know why it was flagged.I am still editing. And yes, they are lots of sources on Softcom Limited.Thanks.Kayleby (talk) 19:29, 7 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

New Page for FEARnyc

You say that my page for FEARnyc is insufficient because I cite blogs. I also cite the NEW YORK TIMES, ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY and TIME OUT NEW YORK. These are major international print publications. I am upset with the process because if you read the page in its totality you will see it is very legitimate as it is cited by these three highly valued news sources in the United States. Ali Shallal al-Qaisi article

Hello. I am involved in independent research, and I have just begun to contribute to Wikipedia (still in process of learning). I posted some information yesterday in the Ali Shallal al-Qaissi article. It has been removed. I am enquiring as to the reason why.09:55, 26 May 2017 (UTC)SESE09:55, 26 May 2017 (UTC)SE — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sovereign Eagle (talkcontribs)

Speedy Deletion

Hi,

You recently removed my page: 17:21, 6 February 2018 RHaworth (talk | contribs) deleted page Draft:NCSIMUL Machine (G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion)

I have reached out to you by email as well.

I was hoping that I could recover the information from the page, as I spent a lot of time collecting third party references, and would like to use them to request that the page be created by a neutral party.

Thank you very much,

Why were all edits removed?

Hello, A couple of weeks ago, I updated and added content to the Heritage Christian School (Canton, Ohio) page. The content there previously was scarce, and now incorrect as well. At first, all of my edits were blocked as inappropriate - I never understood how that could be. A volunteer agreed, and I logged-in with another machine and it was no longer flagged as inappropriate. But, the volunteer told me that it sounded a bit promotional, so I changed the wording to emphasize facts, added reputable sources to the local newspaper and the Ohio Department of Education, and submitted the edits. All was well I thought. Today I looked at the site again and the three measly sentences are back, one of which is no longer correct. Could it be possible to just take out the offending line or two rather than wipe out all of the edits? I'm not sure why factual items such as the school's mission statement, number of students, student body diversity, learning areas of interest, funding sources and amounts, and test scores would be considered promotional? With the inappropriate content blocking at first and now the complete wipe-out of the revised information, I'm feeling like the edits are being a bit targeted and I honestly don't understand why.
