Marami ang mga tagapagsalita ng Min sa mga inmigranteng Tsino sa Timog-Silangang Asya. Ang pinakamalawak na ginagamit na uri ng Min ay ang Hokkien (kabilang ang Hokkien Taiwanes at Amoy). Sa Pilipinas, ginagamit ng karamihan sa mga Pilipinong Tsino ang Hokkien Pilipino.
