Touch ID is a electronic fingerprint scanner feature made by Apple Inc. [ 1] It was used in smartphones , laptops , keyboards , desktop computers and tablet computers .
History
On 20 September 2013, the iPhone 5s became the first iPhone to have a Touch ID.[ 2] On 23 September 2013, the iPhone 5s was hacked Touch ID by Chao Computer Club.[ 3] [ 4] [ 5] [ 6]
On 3 December 2013, iPhone 5S has a problem with Touch ID.[ 7] On 22 February 2025, the iPhone SE (3rd generation) became the last iPhone to have a Touch ID.

Touch ID can be easily escaped by using passcode. On June 2024, iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 can be hard to escape locked and hidden apps.
