Mesocyclops albicans – gatunek widłonoga z rodziny Cyclopidae^[1]. Opisał go w 1909 roku angielski zoolog Geoffrey Watkins Smith (1881–1916^[2]), nadając mu nazwę Cyclops albicans^[3]. Miejsce typowe to Great Lake(inne języki) i liczne małe stawy na Tasmanii^[3].
