Valor absolute

In mathematica, le valor absolute^[1] o modulo de un numero real o de un numero complexe es su distantia al zero. In altere parolas, illo es le valor del numero sin considerar si le numero es positive o negative.

Pro omne ${\displaystyle x\in \mathbb {R} }$ es ver ${\displaystyle |x|:={\begin{cases}\ \;\;\;x&\mathrm {pro} \;\;x\geq 0\\\ -x&\mathrm {pro} \;\;x<0\end{cases}}}$

Pro omne ${\displaystyle x=a+b\mathrm {i} \in \mathbb {C} }$ es ver ${\displaystyle |x|:={\sqrt {x\cdot {\overline {x}}}}={\sqrt {(a+b\mathrm {i} )\cdot (a-b\mathrm {i} )}}={\sqrt {a^{2}+b^{2}}}}$, con ${\displaystyle {\overline {x}}}$ le conjugate de ${\displaystyle x}$.
