Os dani,[1] tamén escrito ndani, son un grupo étnico papúa das terras altas centrais de Nova Guinea Occidental, en Indonesia. Son unha das tribos máis numerosas das terras altas, e un dos grupos étnicos máis coñecidos de Papúa, xa que o turístico val de Baliem é unha área onde son predominantes. "Ndani" é o nome que o pobo moni lle dá os habitantes do val, e ese é o nome que recibiron dende 1926, cando a expedición do Goberno Colonial Smithsonian Institution-Dutch liderada por Matthew Stirling visitou os moni.[2]
