Notice

The article Acoustic network has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced for literally 20 years. Tagged for Notability concerns for 8 months. No other language has a reliably sourced article from which to translate. I see a handful of passing mentions in Google books, but not what appears to be significant coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello, recently I posted an edit request asking for review of a proposed edit on the article for Y Combinator CEO Garry Tan. I have a financial COI with the subject, so I will not edit the article myself. If you have any questions, please post on that page and I'll follow up there. Thanks, WWB Too (Talk · COI) 12:07, 25 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Cross-Post: Help with VP-Expert History Section Update

Hello WikiProject Technology,

I have a conflict of interest as the author of VP-Expert, so I cannot edit the article directly. I’ve posted a {{request edit}} on the article talk page (and also notified WikiProject Computing) asking for a very narrow, well-sourced addition documenting VP-Expert’s market position, using a reliable secondary source from InfoWorld.

Here’s the proposed addition for quick reference:

VP-Expert was widely adopted during the late 1980s. By December 1989, InfoWorld described it as "the best-selling expert-system software for personal computers."[1]

Would an uninvolved editor here be willing to review and, if appropriate, implement this update?

Talk page request: Talk:VP-Expert#COI_Request:_Add_Secondary_Source_to_Document_Market_Position

Thanks very much for your time and help!
