You are right that I have not been active, either with Wikipedia or stamps, recently. Sad, but true. If there is a newsletter you post or something, perhaps I can continue to receive that as a reminder that I'm neglecting one of my favorite hobbies, in deference for real life demands. Kind Regards, Keesiewonder talk 10:53, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
No problem. I didn't notice the other article. I'll remove that section when I get a chance.--Moonlight Mile 08:03, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
I'm afraid a close relative got rather ill recently, so I dropped off the face of the Earth for a while. I'll see if it's up for reveiw when I get online later today, and will move it forward if possible. Many apologies. --Fritzpoll 12:35, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi Ww2censor! Thanks for your message on my Talk page. U said I could ask any questions on your talk page so I'm doing so here. Could u please let me know the best way to revert vandalism using the History tab? In particular I want to edit the last change on the page Khatri by user 65.88.88.153 which has just ended up defacing the article; I have no opinion about his POV. Thanks --Amit 12:31, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
The stamp magazine link is not a primary source. In fact, it doesn't even cite primary sources, so it can't even be considered a secondary source. If you consider that a legitimate source, then http://www.famousstamps.org/famousstampsindex.htm is just as good, and actually much better because all the stamps are located on one page, and it includes the much more coverage than the stamp magazine link. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.202.106.64 (talk • contribs) (14:14, July 11, 2007)

Hi -- just a note to say I saw Tony's comment at FAC, and I'll see if I can have another go at copyediting. Tony is a perfectionist, but his changes do improve the article. If I have time this weekend I'll see what I can do. In the meanwhile I'm going to leave my support in place; I think it is professional level -- perhaps my standards are just lower than Tony's. There's no need to start a discussion, so I just though I'd start it here. Thanks for telling me, I obviously didn't scroll down enough. I shall vote immediately. --Patar knight 00:13, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi Ww2censor. You are off to such a great start on the article David Feldman (philatelist) that it may qualify to appear on Wikipedia's Main Page under the Did you know... section. The Main Page gets about 4,000,000 hits per day and appearing on the Main Page may help bring publicity and assistance to the article. However, there is a five day from article creation window for Did you know... nominations. Before five days pass from the date the article was created and if you haven't already done so, please consider nominating the article to appear on the Main Page by posting a nomination at Did you know suggestions. If you do nominate the article for DYK, please cross out the article name on the "Good" articles proposed by bot list. Also, don't forget to keep checking back at Did you know suggestions for comments regarding your nomination. Again, great job on the article. -- Jreferee (Talk) 02:43, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Well done and do feel free to self nom in future. We definitely need more or classical high culture around the place.Blnguyen (bananabucket) 09:14, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
I read your message and I will try to complete both en: and fr: articles when the time to rest from Machin series and Guam become an obligation. Good day. Sebjarod 08:21, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Yes, congratulations! I'm really glad we now have a stamp FA; the first one is hardest because there is no example to copy, and little expertise in the WikiProject, so this one is really important. I was concerned at first that no one was even looking at the article to review it, but then while I've been away/busy I see it picked up a lot. Your tenacity and hard work made it happen, many thanks! Walkerma 07:04, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 11:33, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
The ORM-D classification is unique within domestic commerce in the U.S. and is not recognized in international commerce.
Arrgh! I missed that part! Nice catch! Thanks for correcting that! Do you know anything about the UN standard markings? I'll go looking for them, but I think there might be an international version... --Mdwyer 04:59, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Staying up to keep an eye on Postage stamps of Ireland, as it might be getting some attention today? (And obvious congrats for your part in that.) FlowerpotmaN·(t) 00:01, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Ww, not sure those nested tags work; better to leave the Irelandproj tags as well, like they do in Australia. (Sarah777 01:30, 19 August 2007 (UTC))
Just in addition to my message on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Ireland/Assessment , I had been playing with a few suggestions regarding towns, cities, counties, etc. etc. on my sandbox at the weekend. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 01:08, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
I think I have sorted the kinks out of the {{tl|WikiProject Ireland}} banner. I have a version on my sandbox although I have to check a few of the categories. I just "nicked" the current WP:Cities banner (which the old {{tl|WikiProject Ireland}} banner was based on). This version has the nested box fix. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 22:58, 21 August 2007 (UTC) PS: You might to take the tag from the top of my sandbox and try it on a sandbox page yourself working through the various parameters.FlowerpotmaN·(t) 23:01, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Aindrias Ó Caoimh, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Darkwind (talk) 08:08, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
{{hangon}}
This guy was/is an Irish High Court Judge and is currently a judge of the European Court of Justice, or is listed on the wikipedia ECJ page as a member.Rigger30 14:59, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
If any of you want to test the test template, just create a sandbox page of your own and add this line to it:
{{User:Flowerpotman/sandbox/templtest}}
The options currently supported are on this page User:Flowerpotman/sandbox/templtest. This template is really just a copy of the the current WP:Cities template. The current Wikiproject Ireland template is based on an old version of the WP:Cities one. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 00:07, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Now you tell me...:O) OK, I'll have a look at that in a minute. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 04:49, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Just noticed you were the nowiki-ing the template in talk pages. If you give the template in the {{tl|WikiProject Ireland}} form, with the tl|, that's parsed and displayed as a link to the template page, and no categories should appear. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 23:56, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
But I just had the pleasure, or whatever the right word is, of seeing the first attack page in my honour. ;O) FlowerpotmaN·(t) 05:22, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Yes, I did indeed notice that - but I assumed (without checking) that they must know what they are doing. On reflection, they changed several of mine and I definitely took the data directly from official OSi maps. I will look into it. (Sarah777 21:42, 25 August 2007 (UTC))
Thank you for your great job on Irish postage stamps. I translated the article in french, and I would like to give you this little témoignage de gratitude. Kokin 22:09, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
I am trying not to get involved with every Irish related article on AFD, although sometimes it feels like that, but Magee of Donegal are up at AFD. It's one of those "We all know them around here, but finding sources is a problem" problems. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 04:24, 26 August 2007 (UTC) PS... Yeah, I'm sure I have a Magee jacket lurking somewhere.:O) FlowerpotmaN·(t) 04:59, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
Hi, you responded to a query on this topic on Sarah777's talk page on 6 August. The same point was raised on Talk:Derry (disambiguation) and I've responded there. Cheers. --The.Q | Talk to me 16:43, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
I was just waiting for the result before telling you that you could add another featured article to the project if you wanted to.... One Night In Hackney303 22:59, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
