Your recent edits at Arlington County, Virginia

On July 20th you added content to this article which included the following harvnb cite <ref>{{harvnb|Skolnik|2021|p=20}}</ref>, which also engendered the tag of "harv or sfn error". The problem is that this cite has no target/complete reference to link to. If you could add the complete reference/citation that would go with Skolnik 2021, then that additional information will remove this article from Category:Harv and Sfn no-target errors. - Shearonink (talk) 15:28, 28 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for highlighting this. I'll add the Skolnik source to the bibliography, which should resolve the issue. - (Wikipedian1234 (talk) 15:43, 28 July 2025 (UTC))[reply]

With this edit at Arlington County, Virginia, you wrote:

Similar the broader Northern Virginia region, the culture of Arlington County has been greatly influenced by its proximity to Washington, which attracts visitors and workers from across the United States and the world, and its increasingly diverse demographics driven by decades of migration. Consequently, Arlington has communities and enclaves of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. For example, the Columbia Pike corridor, which has residents from over 150 different nationalities and since the 1970s has been a destination for immigrants from Southeast Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and elsewhere, has become particularly known for its wide variety of international food options and venues.

To support your edit, you cited this URL.

Perhaps I missed it, but where it this supported at the cited URL? Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 16:40, 31 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your message. This URL is meant to support the final sentence about Columbia Pike. Cited lines about Arlington's increased immigration starting in the 1960s exist elsewhere in the article (e.g., second last paragraph of history section, Bestebreurtje p. 186); happy to add citations where needed. I can also add one for the line about broader cultural influences on Arlington. I'll adjust this in my sandbox first before adding the content to the article. - (Wikipedian1234 (talk) 16:49, 31 July 2025 (UTC))[reply]
Where in the article is "150 different nationalities" cited? Magnolia677 (talk) 17:49, 31 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ah my mistake, I meant to use this citation along with the Columbia Pike History source, which does include the 150 nationalities metric: https://www.columbia-pike.org/neighborhoods/. I'll add to the content as well - (Wikipedian1234 (talk) 18:13, 31 July 2025 (UTC))[reply]
In fact, this source may be more appropriate (https://www.stayarlington.com/neighborhoods/columbia-pike/). In any case, I'll make sure the claims are properly cited before adding the Culture section back to the article - (Wikipedian1234 (talk) 18:19, 31 July 2025 (UTC))[reply]
Please do not add unsourced content to Wikipedia, particularly when added with a source that in no way supports the edit. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 18:25, 31 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
