Character actorPlease don't add "character actor" to the lead of articles, as whether someone is a character actor is usually a subjective judgment. Thanks. Trivialist (talk) 15:38, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

I reverted your edit again, but I shouldn't have without discussing with you first, and I apologize. I would greatly appreciate it if you read through the parameters section of the Infobox person template, specifically through the nationality section. The description for using nationality clearly reads:
In this case, Ferrell was born in the United States, and therefore his nationality as an American can be clearly inferred. If he was Canadian, or German, or Czech, or Icelandic, we would include it here. For instance, Bruce Willis's page includes his nationality because he was born in West Germany, but is American. However, this doesn't apply in Ferrell's case. Corvoe (speak to me) 00:04, 11 April 2014 (UTC) Infobox cleanupHello, we have a major clean-up of the video game infobox due to start. In order to make it go smoothly we're having to edit occurrences of the template on user's sandboxes. So this is just a note to let you know that I've had to remove a couple of old none working fields from the template that you had on your sandbox. Hope that's OK. - X201 (talk) 13:39, 3 June 2014 (UTC) Disambiguation link notification for June 27Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. November 2015![]() Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. DiscussionHi there, re: this when prompted to discuss, not discussing is rarely the community-friendly option. I don't have an opinion on it beyond what I've posted on the talk page, but another editor did, and so the status quo should remain until the matter is resolved. It's nothing personal, but please discuss. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 04:14, 15 October 2016 (UTC) Europe 10,000 Challenge inviteHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:08, 7 November 2016 (UTC) Wikipedia:WikiProject United States/The 50,000 Challenge

FYI, I don't think the category you added should remain there. According to WP:SUBCAT, "a page or category should rarely be placed in both a category and a subcategory or parent category (supercategory) of that category". What do you think? That guideline also says, "an article should be categorised as low down in the category hierarchy as possible."Anythingyouwant (talk) 17:56, 18 March 2017 (UTC) Deletion discussion about Sue Jean KimHello, Wikiman103, I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Sue Jean Kim should be deleted. A tag has been placed on Evan Weinstein requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 20:01, 23 March 2017 (UTC) Nomination of Lori Funk for deletion![]() This is a courtesy message to notify you that the article Lori Funk is being considered for deletion. All editors, including you, are welcome to discuss this at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lori Funk until a consensus is reached. The nomination and discussion are expected to focus on the quality of evidence and the policies and guidelines which are of concern. Please be aware that there are a number of arguments to avoid in a deletion discussion. Users are encouraged to edit the article during the discussion, particularly in ways that address the concerns raised in that discussion. However, please do not attempt to remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article— doing so may be considered an act of bad faith and will not halt the deletion process. Thank you! Although creating articles is appreciated, as is your editing, this does not appear to be a notable person or notable actor. Brief mentions and spare physical details in the sources you provided are not enough to demonstrate notability. I also did some checking and cannot find any independent reliable sources that discuss this person in depth. I am thinking this is a case of WP:TOOSOON. This person may yet become notable, but presently this is not the case. I request that you change the page back to a redirect. When this person has garnered enough notice, then go ahead a recreate the page. Thanks. ---Steve Quinn (talk) 00:48, 16 July 2017 (UTC) Speedy deletion nomination of Blair Ross![]()
