I would appreciate your help on List of modern conflicts in the Middle East, since in the last couple of days it is increasingly subjected to vandalism and wrong insertions from wikipedia non-members, who don't even read the heading of what is Middle East, Modern and how conflicts are defined. Two people tried to insert Tunisian uprising, even though it is in North Africa (not Middle East as defined). Thanks.Greyshark09 (talk) 21:10, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Most of the sources in the article are simply copies from articles of the conflicts provided in the tables. The article has evolved from a rough stub to a solid B-class list with the aid of grey and other editors. I am currently under a comprehensive topic ban of Arab-Israeli wars and the Middle East article covers some of that. I could risk losing editing privileges if I were to touch the article. The article 2005 Ahwazi unrest has been niminated for deletion here [1], according to WP:EVENT. This article has been included by me in the List of modern conflicts in the Middle East, as casualties summarized in 62-160 dead. Does, in your opinion, this event need an article of its own, or as suggested be merged into general issues?Greyshark09 (talk) 20:36, 28 May 2011 (UTC)

Eh, borderline canvassing? I don't think it should be deleted but since I never edited the article or included it in the middle east table (I can't remember at least) it wouldn't be right of me to weigh in. I will watch it though thanks for the notice. Wikifan12345 (talk) 20:45, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
