Not an admin myself, but so far there only seems to be 1 edit from this IP. If vandalism becomes a persistent issue I'll look into making a report. VolatileAnomaly (talk) 04:51, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
I do understand where you're coming from, but at the end of the day Wikipedia is a serious place. The goal here is to give people accurate information, even if the name is silly. Heck, there's even a page on Breast-shaped hillsVolatileAnomaly (talk) 23:30, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
Tell you what, how about instead of making edits on random pages you head on over to the Wikipedia:Sandbox instead. You can make whatever edits you want without bothering others. Just don't use any offensive language and you'll be good. VolatileAnomaly (talk) 23:35, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
Welcome to The Wikipedia Adventure!
Hi VolatileAnomaly! We're so happy you wanted to play to learn, as a friendly and fun way to get into our community and mission. I think these links might be helpful to you as you get started.
Hello, and thank you for removing vandalism from Wikipedia. We appreciate this, but unfortunately your edit was not successful in restoring the article to its pre-vandalised state. For future reference, it is better to deal with vandalism by checking the article's page history to determine how it appeared before it was vandalised. You can then restore the whole article, or the relevant part of it, to an appropriate earlier version. If you simply delete the visible vandalism then any content removed or overwritten by the vandal is lost. See How to deal with vandalism for details. Thank you. Hi, I didn't really expect anyone to notice that I wiped that page, otherwise I would have gone through the proper channels for deletion. It has a history of being marked for deletion that dates back very far, and I doubt you'd find it anywhere else but through the disambiguation page, where it is a very strange little article. The page is obviously not up to encyclopedic standards in both form and content. So, if you know how to delete a page, let's get on it!
HI Sneisagaeogni, looks like the article was WP:PRODded in the past, so one of us would have to nominate it for deletion theough WP:AfD. I'll go ahead and perform a due diligence check, including looking at alternatives to deletion and attempting to locate additional sources first. Best — 🪫Volatile 📲T | ⌨️C16:14, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
Having reviewed the sources, I'm not convinced that there is enough to meet WP:GNG. All sources I were able to locate reads like WP:ROUTINE coverage at best. Will start the deletion nomination. — 🪫Volatile 📲T | ⌨️C16:47, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
If you want to learn about how air horns are used in golf, go to YouTube and search “golf course air horn.” You will see video after video of air horns being used in golf. The air horn operator hides in the bushes and, when a golfer reaches the highest point of the backswing, the air horn is sounded. This makes for a more challenging game. 2600:1002:B1A1:29FB:9F:C299:1606:DD70 (talk) 20:08, 21 June 2025 (UTC)
it was planned that TeenNick would be replaced by Nicktoons on June 19 2024 but it didn't happen and TeenNick is still active in Latin America in 2025 however in France Nickelodeon Teen was actually replaced by Nicktoons as Paramount Global is planning to replace markets that only have TeenNick with Nicktoons or otherwise TeenNick would shut down in territories that have both Nicktoons and TeenNick Justanormalguy321 (talk) 19:55, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
i mean there are continuites for TeenNick Latin America that are recorded in 2025 so this confirms that the 2nd incarnation of Nicktoons Latin America didn't happen for now Justanormalguy321 (talk) 07:44, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
Please take this conversation to the talk page of the TeenNick article. I apologize, but I'm not familiar with the subject matter nor do I know what changes you intend to make — 🪫Volatile 📲T | ⌨️C19:02, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
You have recently edited a page related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
Hello, VolatileAnomaly. I noticed that your recent edit to Icositetrahedron added a link to an image on an external website or on your computer, or to a file name that does not exist on Wikipedia's server. For technical and policy reasons it is not possible to use images from external sources on Wikipedia. Most images you find on the internet are copyrighted and cannot be used on Wikipedia, or their use is subject to certain restrictions. If the image meets Wikipedia's image use policy, consider uploading it to Wikipedia yourself or request that someone else upload it. See the image tutorial to learn about wiki syntax used for images. Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Trimax Mowing Systems, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
A missing title error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)
I've have been dealing with Wikipedia's Scarlet Lettering for 10 years. Too many bullies have used gossip rags as a reference to cause pain, all while hiding behind Wikipedia's bureaucratic structure in order to justify their sadistic behavior. Ive posted on my article page per your request and deeply appreciate any help in putting an end to this abuse.Noyoudont123 (talk) 06:06, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
Noyoudont123, such situations occur enough to where we have an essay directed at editors WP:DOLT explaining that we should be careful when dealing with similar situations. That being said, politely raising your objections go a long way in getting editors to listen to the points you wish to be addressed. I have challenged the reinstated content on the grounds that it is poorly sourced, but others' concerns regarding WP:NOTCENSORED is also justified, in the sense that Wikipedia sees many article subjects try to control the contents of their own articles for publicity or financial reasons (Caesar DePaço being a recent notable example). Either way, I hope this situation resolves satisfactorily. Best — 🪫Volatile 📲T | ⌨️C06:33, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
While my first instinct is to rip anyone's head off who would intentionally upload or reinstate pointless, harmful gossip in order to create shame and humiliation, I am not a Wikipedian and understand that there is a culture here deeply rooted in the open web. I have calmed down and will keep my mouth shut from here on out while the process plays out. Thanks. Noyoudont123 (talk) 06:46, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
Hi there! I hope that VolatileAnomaly doesn't mind, but I saw your message and question here and thought I would respond and help. Wikipedia has a policy that disallows original research from being added to any articles. In short, this means that you cannot "cite yourself", your experiences, relationships, your eyewitness testimony, or even published research papers or works. You must cite sources that are considered to be reliable. This ensures that content added to Wikipedia is verifiable. I hope this response helps to answer your question, and I wish you a great day and happy editing! :-) ~Oshwah~(talk)(contribs)09:26, 19 August 2025 (UTC)
Hi there! I wanted to let you know that I have declined your G5 speedy deletion nomination of Tanya R-Siam because it may be too soon. Although an SPI is open, the case has not yet been closed to state whether the creator is socking. As such, the article cannot yet be deleted. If the SPI closes as SOCK, feel free to renominate for G5. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 17:09, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
