Do you have a link to the discussion for your recent page move ("per talk page")? I can't seem to find any history at either Talk:Nessie or Talk:Nessie (disambiguation), and the move itself seems a little counter-intuitive to me. Regards, DeLarge (talk) 17:35, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The diff is actually this one, but it's a deleted edit. I guess I was looking at something else when I typed in my move reason. It was actually moved because of the reason given in that deleted edit: "duplicate (also, the current page is much less extensive)". The previous contents of the page was:

• A female first name, usually short for Vanessa
• A nickname for the Loch Ness Monster
• A nickname for the character Inez in Cyberchase

Ahhh, that explains a lot.

I created the dab page at Nessie (disambiguation) back in March 2007, and at that time Nessie was a redirect to the Loch Ness Monster, which I thought was perfectly sensible. At some point in between someone’s had the bright idea to create a second disambiguation page. I never had Nessie on my watchlist, hence never noticed when it happened.

My own opinion is that the monster is by far the primary use of the term, hence why I thought it "counter-intuitive" – I thought you’d over-written the redirect. Would you be ok to restore it to Nessie (disambiguation) and recreate the redirect as an uncontroversial move, or would you be happier if I throw this open to WP:RM for confirmation? Yeah, that scenario seems to be the most sensible. I have moved the disambig to Nessie (disambiguation) and recreated Nessie as a redirect to Loch Ness Monster. I also added a "see also" to the article directing to the disambig page, just in case. Useight (talk) 21:35, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have restored User talk:Dr. Rhino/Abox. I think that's the one you wanted, the page you linked was just a redirect to User talk:The Arbiter (usurped2)/Abox, which was a redirect to User talk:Dr. Rhino/Abox. Round two is over, and we are down to our final 32. For anyone interested in the final standings (though not arranged by group) this page has been compiled. Congratulations to Hunter Kahn (submissions), our clear overall round winner, and to ThinkBlue (submissions) and Arsenikk (submissions), who were solidly second and third respectively. There were a good number of high scorers this round- competition was certainly tough! Round three begins tomorrow, but anything promoted after the end of round two is eligible for points. 16 contestants (eight pool leaders and eight wildcards) will progress to round four in two months- things are really starting to get competitive. Anything you worry may not receive the necessary attention before the end of the round (such as outstanding GA or FA nominations) is welcome at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews, and please remember to continue offering reviews yourself where possible. As always, the judges are available to contact via email, IRC or their talk pages, and general discussion about the Cup is welcome on the WikiCup talk page.

Judge iMatthew has retired from Wikipedia, and we wish him the best. Five months ago I began working on Evanna Lynch and last week it was listed as a good article. I've recently requested a peer review recently to find out what needs fixing before it is ready for WP:FAC.
