User talk:Useight/Archive17Do you have a link to the discussion for your recent page move ("per talk page")? I can't seem to find any history at either Talk:Nessie or Talk:Nessie (disambiguation), and the move itself seems a little counter-intuitive to me. Regards, DeLarge (talk) 17:35, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
I created the dab page at Nessie (disambiguation) back in March 2007, and at that time Nessie was a redirect to the Loch Ness Monster, which I thought was perfectly sensible. At some point in between someone’s had the bright idea to create a second disambiguation page. I never had Nessie on my watchlist, hence never noticed when it happened. My own opinion is that the monster is by far the primary use of the term, hence why I thought it "counter-intuitive" – I thought you’d over-written the redirect. Would you be ok to restore it to Nessie (disambiguation) and recreate the redirect as an uncontroversial move, or would you be happier if I throw this open to WP:RM for confirmation? WikiCup 2010 April newsletter![]() Round two is over, and we are down to our final 32. For anyone interested in the final standings (though not arranged by group) this page has been compiled. Congratulations to Judge iMatthew has retired from Wikipedia, and we wish him the best. The competition has been ticking over well with minimal need for judge intervention, so thank you to everyone making that possible. A special thank you goes to participants WikiProject Harry Potter: Evanna LynchWikiProject Harry Potter has been rather inactive recently. I've been working on the Evanna Lynch article lately, and have based it off the featured article Emma Watson. I thought I'd ask if you would like to collaborate on the article, as part of a possible WikiProject revival. Leave your response at the article's talk page. Thanks! "What administrative work do you intend to take part in"...is fine IMO. "The rule which forbids ending a sentence with a preposition is the kind of nonsense up with which I will not put", as Churchill famously said. "Which" instead of "What" would have been better not long ago, but the grammarians have lost that one, too. (Watching) - Dank (push to talk) 18:15, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

*waves*I'm sure everyone would be fine with you keeping the bits while you're gone (well, I should never say everyone :)). You'll have a few hours to consider I'm sure. I think that #8 on your list might slow you down a bit, but with practice, perfection is approached. Cheers, Prodego talk 07:04, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
Worthwhile goals on your userpage. I wish you well and you're always welcome back. The neatest wiki farewell I've seen. — Rlevse • Talk • 09:51, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Thank you![]() Useight - Thank for your participation and support in my RfA. I can honestly say that your comments and your trust in me are greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you ever have any suggestions for me as an editor, or comments based on my admin actions. Thank you! 7 22:48, 5 June 2010 (UTC) Ya know . . .. . . not for nothin', I removed you from WP:MIA and was quickly reverted because, in your case, you really, really meant it. I am glad you're still lurking about on some level, and I won't try to remove you from the list again, but for the record, you ain't gone!--~TPW 00:55, 11 June 2010 (UTC) You are now a Reviewer![]() Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010. Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages. When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here. If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. MBisanz talk 02:28, 20 June 2010 (UTC) Spoken article tag removedAs you seem to be (semi-)retired, I've removed your Spoken Wikipedia In Progress tag from Talk:Pokémon. I've also removed the request tag itself, as I don't think these are the kind of articles we need audio recordings of. Articles with further development, especially featured ones, are much more suitable for that. Cheers, theFace 11:23, 27 June 2010 (UTC) Five months ago I began working on Evanna Lynch and last week it was listed as a good article. I've recently requested a peer review recently to find out what needs fixing before it is ready for WP:FAC. And so, if you're offer still stands could you please take a look at the article —"proofread and edit at the micro level"—so it is ready for WP:FAC? Thanks!
