Thanks for your edit on Diagnostics on the Mpox page. Well thought out and carefully phrased. But I think it would be better placed somewhere else. ..... it doesn't describe a diagnostic method or technique, it's more of a news item, showing an aspiration rather than an achievement.

It could possibly be moved into the Mpox epidemic article, where it would illustrate the efforts to contain the outbreak. Or maybe as a Research topic in the current page.

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Malur R. Narasimha Prasad, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. I'm looking for a couple of people who could lend a hand on a small project. Wikipedia:WikiProject Medicine is trying to get at least one ref into every medicine-related article. The list is getting shorter, but we've still got a bit more than 100 to go, and the Wikipedia:WikiProject Unreferenced articles/Backlog drives/November 2024 ends in just less than a week. If you could add a source to even one or two of them, it would really help us out. Here's how to help:

1. Pick an article from the list. I can see that you've done more serious medical content, but most of them are organizations, people, or other subjects that do not require any specialized medical knowledge, so it would hopefully be pretty easy.
2. Find at least one reliable source and add it to the article.
3. Remove or update any maintenance tags at the top of the article.
4. Edit the list to mark off the item or leave some notes about it so the next person will know that this one is done. (Try editing the page in the visual editor, because it's much easier for tables.)
5. That's all!

I removed what you added because the Dietary intake section of Vitamin D is limited to government-held positions on recommended intake. Science on falls and fractures is covered in the Health effects section. As with all medical/health topics, references need to comply with the guidelines set at WP:MEDRS. I am not sure that any content from US PSTF qualifies, but I will admit that I had never heard of the organization before, and thus am unfamiliar with it. Hi David notMD, The USPSTF guidance is actually incredibly important in public health guidance including dietary guidelines. Here is a good manuscript on their work. In their guidance documents that they cite - they do an elaborate meta analysis. • The individual’s research has had a significant impact on their scholarly discipline, as evidenced by independent reliable sources.

• They have received highly prestigious academic awards or honors at a national or international level.

• Their work has had a substantial influence beyond academia in their academic capacity.

Please review the following as external validation of notability:

Anand Reddi has played a key role in safeguarding HIV funding in resource-limited settings. His recognition includes a Fulbright Scholarship, the Thomas Jefferson Award, and participation in the Atlantic Dialogues. He is a recognized expert in U.S. global health policy.

His writings on global health have been published in scientific journals such as Science, JAMA Pediatrics, AIDS, and JAIDS, as well as in opinion pieces for The Huffington Post (as a featured contributor), The Washington Post, and The New York Times. Notably, Reddi, alongside Archbishop Desmond Tutu and other HIV advocates, countered Emanuel’s arguments, leading to the restoration of $366 million for antiretroviral scale-up in Uganda in 2010. He has also worked to protect access to PrEP and other critical HIV-related initiatives.

I added subsections to the section “PEPFAR under second Trump presidency”. I think there’s a lot to the aspect that waivers were supposed to have been made for PEPFAR, but do not appear to have been. But I can’t find a lot of recent news articles. Not yet. I mean within the last month. Please jump in if you so wish.
