Welcome to Wikipedia!!
A very TARDISey merry Christmas to you, and I like your work on the soundtrack page :). Will (Because you're filthy, ooh, and I'm gorgeous)Merry Christmas! 18:17, 25 December 2006 (UTC) Your edits to The Runaway Bride (Doctor Who)Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Rambutan! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but please note that the link you added in is on my spam blacklist and should not be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an Imageshack or Photobucket image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was genuine spam, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy). If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. The New Series Adventures book The Stealers of Dreams takes place after Boom Town because it contains a direct reference to the events of that episode. 23skidoo 14:47, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Ralbot 05:40, 13 March 2007 (UTC) Murray Gold/Mr chuzzlewitHi, Rambutan. I'm travelling till Tuesday evening, so won't be able to examine the incident closely, but at a glance I would say that a) you're probably right that Mr chuzzlewit (talk · contribs) has some connection to Murray Gold, and thus has a COI with regards to Gold's article and the soundtrack, and b) Chuzzlewit is right that opinions stated on an internet forum aren't, generally speaking, considered a reliable source for Wikipedia's purposes, and so probably shouldn't be included in the article. He's also right that it's more important to note what major media sources have said about an album than what a handful of fans said on a discussion forum — even a discussion forum as well-regarded as OG. My feeling as an editor is that the OG criticism should probably stay out of the article, but (as I said on the talk page) if similar cricicisms have been published in print (in, say, Doctor Who Magazine or SFX) they could be noted. But I think that the article as it is gives undue weight to the opinions of a few fans. Sorry. The issue of Gold's religion is a bit more dicey. I don't think that his parents' names are noteworthy, unless they are themselves noteworthy for some reason, in which case we should say "His father is the noted architect Leonard Gold" (or whatever). The religion/ethnicity question, however, is arguably noteworthy — however, per WP:BLP we should probably have a citation for it. If we can find a citation for Gold being Jewish, I think that should probably stay in the article. I'll leave a note on Chuzzlewit's user talk page about WP:COI, but his concerns are mostly legit. His main error was in editing the articles, instead of discussing his concerns on the articles' talk pages. I hope that helps. —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 19:20, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
I don't really have anything to add to Josiah's comments. As it stands, I think all is proceeding as it should in terms of handling the matter. The policy position is pretty clear. --khaosworks (talk • contribs) 22:58, 19 March 2007 (UTC) Signpost updated for March 20th, 2007.

Ralbot 14:18, 27 March 2007 (UTC) Do not be confrontational.Rambutan, i'm afraid you are being confrontational and there is no way around it. If your weren't being confrontational why would you choose to highlight that in a hidden comment? Push all your frustration aside and move onto something more productive or you'll fall into the trap of being childish yourself. I explained my reason for removing 'stuff' off my talkpage in the archive page, perhaps you would care to take a look.--MrWez 09:43, 28 March 2007 (UTC) |
