Hi, @NiellaDen; welcome to Wikipedia! There may be some relevant information on creating an article at Help:Your first article. If this is related to the content that you put on your user page (User:NiellaDen), though, I would caution you not to recreate that content, and to read through the message left on your talk page as to why it was deleted. Please let me know if you have any questions. Tol (talk | contribs) @ 21:40, 6 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Catherine Costello for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hello, I am very new to wikipedia, but I believe you keep redirecting a page "Russell Gordon" to "Russell T Gordon" and I am working to build the article for "Russell Gordon" as an individual separate from who you are redirecting to. Do you mind guiding me on how to stop the redirect? Thank you. Bentleythomas (talk) 23:21, 14 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Bentleythomas; welcome to Wikipedia! This redirect was created some time ago by my bot, as Russell T. Gordon was at the time the only "Russell Gordon" that we had an article on. Edits since then have just been other bots and users. It does appear that other editors have some concerns regarding the page's content, though; I would encourage you to read our policy on neutral point of view. Also, are you the same person as Russgordon12? Tol (talk | contribs) @ 01:10, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the reply, and I see the concerns now. russgordon12 is my partner and I suppose the article we're trying to build may not make sense at this time. Please forgive my ignorance on wikipedia policies. Bentleythomas (talk) 06:47, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, @Kiwanuka the Great; welcome to Wikipedia! Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and hosts neutral articles on notable topics. It is not a web host to store personal pages on, nor is it a means of promotion. Because your sandbox article was solely promotional, I tagged it for speedy deletion; I also left more information on what this means on your talk page. You are more than welcome to make constructive, non-promotional edits to improve the encyclopedia, but please do not add promotional content. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
