Changes to Dennis the MEnace Fawcett Comics historyHi Titodutta. Thank you for replying to my edits in your fine article about Dennis the Menace comics. Here is why I made those changes: I have been studying the history of the original Captain Marvel and Fawcett comics for many years. It is easily verifiable that Fawcett did not win the lawsuit with National/Detective/DC Comics regarding Captain Marvel and Superman. They settled. The settlement involved paying National/Detective/DC Comics $400,0000 and agreeing to never publish Captain Marvel again. Fawcett then did sell a bunch of their characters to Charlton, but held on to the Marvel family and other superheroes. These were later licensed to DC in the 1970's. I thought changing one word and adding a couple of others would make the entry more accurate. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fawcett_Publications — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.113.217.131 (talk) 08:05, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
