Hi! I've noticed that most articles prevent editors from editing them unless their account is 4 days old, and I have no problem. But I have noticed that despite this 4-day period passing, some articles still prevent me to edit them, so could you tell me the probably reason? --PuzzleGiggle (talk) 19:55, 31 May 2025 (UTC)

Hello @PuzzleGiggle, all articles don't have the restriction unless an admin adds them due to vandalism, unconstructive editing, contentious topics etc. In addition, there are more stricter types of restrictions than the one you described (this page describes them all). thetechie@enwiki (she/they | talk) 21:40, 1 June 2025 (UTC)

Hi you've been assigned as my mentor on here! :) how do you do? I am rebecca, new to here but working hard to learn the ways of wiki! i have a couple of pending articles i've done two for BBC presenters and one for a comedian!
