When I couldn't believe I fell for that, I wondered how many other people would fall for it. Also, I wanted to see what other users would say about Japanese people (in the same sense that User:Nathan said "Damn those evil Irish, always playin' jokes"). --Sakura Avalon 19:54, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There is a campaign of attaching ED links to user talk pages in the past month. This is the second one I reverted in the past 24 hours. The targets of the articles know that they exist, the appropriate action is to remove the attack, it can still be located in the history (hence the notice of removal). Btw, I see you doing good things, keep up the good work :). NoSeptember 20:34, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
You caught me "loosing"... congrats! I wondered how long it would take somebody to find that.
Thank you, Cliff, for that lovely and totally unexpected message! It really brightened up my day. Thanks again for the kind words and shinies. :D Cheers, Sango123 21:02, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yeah, definitely. But, ummmm, wouldn't that cause a wiki civil war? -- Szvest 15:02, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Here's... um... something for you! Somethings somehow promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by giving something friendly to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Make your own message to spread WikiLove to others using Template:smile! Happy editing! --TBCTaLk?!? 05:14, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Couldn't think of any clever puns or words that rhyme with "eragh". Anyhow, keep up the good work, you've contributed a lot to Wikipedia. (another ackward attempt at comedy by TBCTaLk?!?)
Hello Springeragh. I've been tring to "fix" my signature so I can have a green S (eSperanza) , lose the sig image and have a few spare spaces for extra links, unfortunately - I've met a few snags. I was wondering if you could help me as it seems that you have had sucess.
This is the Ideal signature:

Hi there, I hope you're OK and that you can come back to Wikipedia soon. But please, take all the time you need to cope with whatever is troubling you. --Tachikoma 00:30, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Spring, sorry to see that you're still stressed. Let's hope that this big smiley face can help out a bit:

That do any good? I hope that all your stress floats away soon, and that you feel in a better mood soon as well. And, of course, talk to me whenever you need to.

Hi there, I was thinking that if you do choose to change your signature, you might first eliminate everything that you have within the parentheses. You can put the green Esperanza E (or whatever you prefer) within the "Springeragh" proper. Unfortunately doing just these steps will mean that you won't have the links to your talk page, Phaedriel's soundtrack page, etc. I'm really not the one to ask as to how you would insert those links within "Springeragh". If you do pursue an RfA in the future, you should probably make these changes at least a few months before your candidacy — doing so immediately before an RfA can (and has) been perceived as a cynical tactic to improve one's chances.
Above all, I would encourage you to get more involved with editing within the Wikipedia mainspace, which is much more important than changing your signature.
I really appreciate being added to your list of friends despite all I've said. Thank you. --Tachikoma 19:27, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Greetings, Springeragh. The judges would like to announce that the winner for the Esperanza User Page Contest has been chosen. Congratulations to Misza13 for winning the contest. The winning entry can be found here.
If you'd like to participate in the contest again, check by the contest page in a few days and sign up. See you around. May the Force be with you! Shreshth91($ |-| ŗ 3 $ |-| ţ |-|) 09:35, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, thanks for your message. My decision has nothing to all to do with our discussion. It's really a result of seeing how people in that role get overwhelmed by the feeling that they need to fix everything that's wrong with Wikipedia — vandalism, revert wars, etc. — and furthermore watching how some admins end up conflicting with other admins. Take a look at WP:AN and WP:ANI sometime. I have enough going on in my life that I don't need the added stress, especially when it's something I'm not even getting paid for.
For what it's worth, I do think that I would make a fair-minded and civil admin, but I think I would much prefer being an ordinary user. --Tachikoma 15:25, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Let me add that I am not trying to discourage you from pursuing a sysop position, but just explaining my own preferences. --Tachikoma 20:32, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Aww, thank you. You're a great user too, and I'm sure that one day, you'll make a great admin! :) --Tachikoma 02:16, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 11:56, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have to be an administrator to put {{Blatantvandal-n}} on talk pages? I decided to be bold and do it here, but I was wondering if I should/shouldn't have done it. (Can you reply on my talk page as well as here?) —$ΡЯΙNGεrαgђ (-¢|ε|Ŀ|T|♫-) 03:49, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, I thought you should be aware that I got involved in a dispute regarding yourself, Sceptre, 206.124.31.24, and 70.5.51.142. This came about when I was looking at the Recent changes and saw an anonymous edit to Sceptre's talk page. I warned the anon, and then the anon pointed out a comment that Sceptre had made about 206.124.31.24 about 9/11 being the person's anniversary.
I thought that was a pretty offensive thing to say, and so I left a warning on Sceptre's page as well. Since then I have gone back through the respective people's contributions and found that your userpage had been the target of a sockpuppet claim.
I didn't investigate fully, but I know that the sockpuppet accusation is unjustified. The anon IP who placed it, 206.124.31.24, has since been blocked, and I believe that the same person contacted me through the IP 70.5.51.142.
At this point, I hope that the matter can just be put to rest, because I think it's disruptive to bring it up again in further discussions. The anonymous user appears to consider the matter closed. I don't know yet what Sceptre thinks, but I hope he agrees. I simply thought that since you were an involved party, you should know what has transpired in your absence, and hopefully you will consider this resolved as well. Thank you. --Tachikoma 20:43, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
(crossposted Tachikoma's message from User talk:70.5.122.118) Hello, this situation has been brought about by bad choices of words coupled with misunderstandings on all sides. I've gone through the page history of Springeragh's user page, and as far as I can determine, you seem to have initiated this dispute with this edit. If that is indeed true, then perhaps you should apologise to Springeragh and Sceptre. I will ask Sceptre to tell you personally that he was not calling you a terrorist.
I've tried to be fair and objective to all parties involved, and I've tried to spare everyone any sense of hurt. I'm sorry I ever got involved, and I don't want to do anymore on this matter beyond this message.
This message will be crossposted to both Springeragh's and Sceptre's talk pages. end quote
Hi there, as I told Will, I'm urging the anon user to apologise to you and to him, and in turn, I'm urging Will to tell the anon user personally that he was not calling him a terrorist. As I told both Sceptre and the anon user, I'm sorry I ever got involved, and I don't want to do anymore on this matter. --Tachikoma 00:07, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks man, but remember, we've also got to wait until Phaedriel comes back, as she's also co-noming. But that should be alright, it'll just give me time to get even more edits under my belt ;) Thε Halo Θ 09:30, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, I cut short my wikibreak, because work-related stress improved, and Wikipedia is just addicting. I don't want to bring up what happened again, except to say that I'm sorry I ever got involved and I'm sorry for any pain I might have caused. Instead of calming everyone's nerves, I just made things worse. I changed the quote on my user page to reflect that feeling of having utterly failed.
Based on this experience, I don't think I'll try to mediate between Wikipedia users again. It also reaffirms my decision not to become an admin.
I'm not copying this message on Sceptre's and the anon's talk pages, because I get the feeling that I wouldn't be welcome, for lack of a better term. --Tachikoma 11:04, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, let's get going on my RfA. If you would please update the dates, I will accept your nom, we can go live with it, and then leave it to the gods ;) Thank you, btw, for such a great nomination. I was really touched by your words.
Although I'll be watching out, if you wouldn't mind putting a note on my talkpage just to say that the RfA is ready, that would be very kind of you.
Thank you so much Spring, now let's keep our fingers crossed! :) Thε Halo Θ 14:45, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
