Mark Levin radio talk show hostGreetings, Where is the "Controversies & Criticism" sections for Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews, Ed Schultz, and so many other non conservatives listed at on each individual page as I can not locate them. If it isn't possible to view these missing "Controversies & Criticism" section blocks for others in a political limelight, I sense that somehow persons such as Mark Levin and other "conservatives" for instance have been unfairly singled out due to their political beliefs which is a violation under The United States Constitution. I would hope that after your perusal of the above note, that this "Controversies & Criticism" section either be added to ALL other persons listed here in Wikipedia or removed from those who's beliefs are NOT consistent but rather contrary with liberal beliefs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by P14u2nv 2 (talk • contribs) 01:15, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

Sinebot tilde template suggestionAt the moment, Sinebot does this: "If a particular person makes three or more unsigned comments in a 24 hour period, the bot will place a single Tilde warning on his/her talk page." It might be useful if it did this for editors posting to a talk page for the first time if they fail to sign, without waiting for them to make three in a 24 hour period (or to post the welcome template, which includes this guidance). It might be useful for it to do this for longer-time editors who have never posted a signature also, if there's any way to easily determine that. Well, s/he exists only in the sense that s/he has an account. But, when one looks at his/her contribs, one discovers that s/he has only ever edited his/her user and talk pages. This user has never made an edit to a single article on Wikipedia. Since it does not satisfy WP:CSD#U2, is there a criterion in the CSD General section that would permit its deletion? Delay timeI see there is a 90-second delay before SineBot applies a signature. This is too short for those of us who may not refresh our watchlists that frequently. In particular, by the time you've hovered over an edit or a diff to see whether it's useful, SineBot has already signed it and when you revert, the reversion is to the unsigned version rather than to the previous unvandalised version. Ideally, a revert should do both, to avoid unnecessary work. Comment? Several users have recently began asking if it would not be possible to acquire a copy of SineBot to run on our wiki. If you do not wish to release the source code, I'm sure we could arrange for the script to run directly from your current host - our wiki is fully compliant with bots which can connect through our API. SineBotHello, On the SineBot page it says that there is a list of high priority pages. I'm not perfect at signing post, so could you add User talk:IBen? --iBendiscuss 05:23, 28 December 2009 (UTC) SineBot's MessagesSineBot's messages saying you should sign your post should also include the picture for the beta button that signs posts (the picture on beta is different). Otherwise, users may get confused. --Hadger 21:55, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
Delta Chi Association & Delta Ch Chapter of Delta Kappa EpsilonTo: Wikipedia Editors slakr, DGG, C.Fred & Ronhjones Gentlemen: By way of introduction I am H. William Fogle, Jr. (Hwf1870, Bill Fogle, [email protected]), the Alumni Historian of the Delta Chi Association (the alumni arm of the Delta Chi Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon at Cornell University). I am also the sole author of the thirty historical papers about this Chapter that you will find on the Cornell University eCommons@Cornell site. See http://ecommons.cornell.edu/handle/1813/7626. All of these papers bear the notation Copyright: ©2006 -Delta Chi Association, Ithaca NY. As Alumni Historian and member of the Board of the Delta Chi Association I am authorized to provide permissions for the use of this material and am also required to obtain permissions as required for copyrighted material that I have used in these documents. There are only one or two cases of the latter. I am also the author of Cornell Deke House A History of the 1893 Lodge. Ithaca NY: The Delta Chi Association, 1993. Copies are located in the Cornell University Library (+LJ75/.315/ 1993Z), the DeWitt Historical Society of Tompkins County (728.4 7655, accession #1994.9.1) 401 East State Street, Ithaca 14850) and the Library of Congress (Washington DC). I noted that there were at lease three existing Wikipedia articles that connected to Delta Chi Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon at Cornell University: “Deke House (Ithaca, New York)” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deke_House_(Ithaca,_New_York) “John De Witt Warner” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_De_Witt_Warner “Mario García Menocal” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mario_Garc%C3%ADa_Menocal I edited “Deke House (Ithaca, New York)” on 29 December 2009 to correct the spelling of my name in the references. I edited “John De Witt Warner” on 29 December 2009 to correct the link to the reference Fogle, Jr., Homer William (3 Jul 2006). "DX of DKE Special Study #09: I edited “Mario García Menocal” on 30 December 2009 to add the two references that described the 1920 DKE Convention: Minot, John Clair (February 1921). "The Convention in Havana," Delta Kappa Epsilon Quarterly, XXXIX, 1, p. 1-25; and Fogle, Homer William Jr. (25 Nov 2005). The Deke House at Cornell: a concise history of the Delta Chi Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon, 1870-1930.Cf. pp. 27, 57, 60, 64, 66-69. My next steps were to create two brief articles, "Delta Chi Association" and "Delta Chi Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon." The information for these articles consisted of abridgements from http://hdl.handle.net/1813/3931 (Title: "Chapter and Alumni Operations Handbook, 2006" Author: Fogle, Homer William Jr.) I completed the first article, "Delta Chi Association" on 30 December and that seemed to be accepted by the system. However, on the following day the text for the second article, "Delta Chi Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon." triggered your plagiarism monitor and, I think, perhaps another on significance. I would like to complete these two articles and see them registered in Wikipedia. This chapter of DKE is one of the most historically significant college societies in the United States. It has direct connections to a host of important historical figures including two Presidents of the United States. The lodge is on the National Registor of Historic Places and the Ithaca Landmark list. You will find much of the historical data in http://ecommons.cornell.edu/handle/1813/3223. Please advise if I may proceed with these two articles. Respectfully, H. OpinionRecently I’ve been involved in a dispute in the article about Carmen Miranda. The issue in discussion was the fact that the article refers to this artist as “Portuguese-born Brazilian” and uses a source that does not support such expression. I presented many reliable sources that support that this artist had only Portuguese citizenship and not a Brazilian one. This artist has also born in Portugal. No further sources were presented to support her supposed “brazilian” citizenship. Some users joined together and stated that she is more Brazilian than Portuguese because she identifies herself with Brazil, thus the expression Portuguese-born Brazilian was correct. I think that this is a clear original research where they use sources that say she identified with Brazil to support she was Brazilian (a clear interpretation and personal opinion and theory). This goes against one of the three core policies of Wikipedia Wikipedia:No original research. I asked RfC where it ended in 5/1 consensus against me. Since no reliable sources were presented and the issue was not cleary addressed I moved to mediation, see here [9]. Mediation was accepted by 3 of those users but they were not open to mediate. I did a suggestion of compromise from my part where I suggested the expression “Portuguese-Brazilian” instead of “Portuguese” what I was defending, hopping that this discussion would end in an agreement. It cleary didn’t since the other part did not made any suggestion for resolving the discussion nor presented any compromise or showed interest in that. So Mediation was closed and it ended in (3/2) against me. Afterward Mediator of the discussion said that I showed no respect for the consensus (5/1) obtained in RfC and stated I was forum-shopping to get my way by having asked Mediation a thing that he suggested I did not had the right, see here [10]. Post this I would like to get some opinion in this situation. What should i do? Should i present this case to ArbCom? Sorry to be bothering you with this but I fell a bit insulted with this entire situation and really need some neutral opinion. Thank you. Tacv (talk) 23:14, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
SineBot False PositiveI left a message on a user's talk page (and revised it), he responded on mine, and I moved his response back to his talk page – after which SineBot added my name onto the end of his signed comment which I moved over. One thing I did notice which might have thrown SineBot off: the other guy's sig was surrounded by parentheses (). Your SineBot spammed Talk:Same-sex marriage in the United StatesPlease have a look at Talk:Same-sex marriage in the United States. Message of Sinebot : Your recent editsI received twice this message:

Duduk InstrumentDear Kurt, On the wikipedia page for the instrument Duduk. It is protected and it doesn't say that it originated from Armenia, and it does. My proof is this. The duduk is one of the oldest double reed instruments in the world and dates back over 3,000 years. Variants of the duduk can be found in Armenia and the Caucasus. The roots of Armenian duduk music go back to the times of the Armenian king Tigran the Great (95–55 BC). Well, during the rule of King Tigran the Great. Armenia was a nation, and the countries of Turkey, or the seljuk Turks, and Azerbaijan were not a country and a people yet. Therefor, that is the proof that indeed the Armenians have created the Duduk and I would like to see that added to wikipedia. by that I mean that Wikipedia says that the Duduk is originated from Armenia and the Duduk wikipedia page is still protected from vandalism after that. Can you please do the edit for me? Thank You. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Armoboy323 (talk • contribs) 03:44, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
Virgin birth (mythology)Your sinebot is signing my comments on 'virgin birth (mythology)' even though I clicked the signature button at the top. I can't discuss this on the talk page because now my comments are deleted before the page is saved.--Hammy64000 (talk) 01:38, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
Sinebot False Positivediff That seemed like it signed a post that was already signed. Just FYI. Tim1357 (talk) 15:52, 17 January 2010 (UTC) ThanksOk. I think it's best to instruct Sinebot to avoid signing in the RFA area overall. I'm not aware of a clean way to opt out of every RFA page, unless perhaps the opt-out is part of the RFA template. I undid this edit today which was a signing that it shouldn't have done. You would know more of the internals than I would about how best to address this, so I defer that to you, but just thought I'd let you know, because this looks like it could happen again in the future. --Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 20:42, 18 January 2010 (UTC) Delta Chi Chapter of Delta Kappa EpsilonTo: Wikipedia Editors slakr, DGG, C.Fred & Ronhjones Gentlemen: Please recall that we were having some discussion about the appropriateness of adding an article on the Delta Chi Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon to Wikipedia. I concede that an article on the Delta Chi Association (the alumni arm of the Chapter) is not necessary, but I would like to go forward with an article on the chapter. I have prepared a text that follows in this message. All sources for the material are cited. I note that Wikipedia carries many articles on specific clubs and societies in American universities. The "Dartmouth College Greek organizations" article provides subarticles on the individual Greek-letter chapters. "Eating club (Princeton University)" links to separate articles on the five bicker clubs and the five non-selective clubs in Princeton The secret honor societies of Cornell University have articles, i.e. "Sphinx Head" and "Quill and Dagger." There are individual articles on six of the eight final clubs at Harvard University. Yale University's societies, e.g. Skull and Bones" well are represented. In other words, I see ample precedent for an article on a specific college club. You will note that there is sufficient historical significance cited to warrant an article. Please advise if I may proceed. I would appreciate responses by email: [email protected] H. William Fogle (HWF1870) Alumni Historian, Delta Chi Association Hwf1870 (talk) 19:01, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

Bawolff (talk) 03:58, 5 February 2010 (UTC) MessageHi SineBot, I'll post 4 tildes(99.88.78.94 (talk) 17:23, 6 February 2010 (UTC)) at end of my comments. SineBot: requesting a delayHey Slakr, would you implement a 5 or 10 minute delay in signing unsigned comments? I recently made a comment (an inane one, but still) hit enter to go to a new line, and the comment submitted because the cursor was stuck in the title box. Annoyed, I went back to edit the comment to add the rest and sign it, but a conflict came up saying SineBot had signed it and now there was an editing conflict. --99.96.103.225 (talk) 17:09, 6 February 2010 (UTC) I hate to do thisBut do you think SineBot would join me on a date?
