User talk:SimLibrarianThank you!Hello, SimLibrarian, Thank you for going back to fix articles with problems that were noted years ago. Many editors focus on creating new articles or fighting vandalism, not cleaning up mistakes that have hung around for years so thanks for putting in the time on less glamorous but absolutely necessary tasks like these. It's noted and much appreciated! Liz Read! Talk! 21:35, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

But you didn't take out one reference, to a song. This doesn't matter at all of course. But 1) why take out those seven but leave one? 2) Why take out those references at all? They seem to me to show the cultural impact of the store in the 1980s, in particular describing it as a place that signifies wealth or a kind of sophistication. Broken external linksI've noticed that you remove broken external links from articles. As an alternative to removing broken external links, I prefer to try to replace them with an archived version from the Wayback Machine, https://web.archive.org To try to find an archived version, you can paste the URL into the search box, or you can rewrite the external link using {{cite web}}, and then run https://iabot.toolforge.org/index.php Eastmain (talk • contribs) 21:16, 6 May 2023 (UTC)

Thank you for your consideration. We hope to see you around! I have a COI as AFSP is my client, so I will not be making edits directly. I was wondering if you would be willing to take a look at my suggested edits for this article, and if you agree, help with implementing the edits. I have drafted a rework of the first lead section of the page to address the tone issues and added additional 3rd party sources. Please see the updates in more detail below. We are looking to provide updates for the majority of the page to answer the issues in full, but will break them up by section to allow for easier reviewing. I also left a note about this on Talk:American Foundation for Suicide Prevention! Thank you! Suggested New Page Copy: The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that advocates for research and education around suicide. Based in New York City, it is the largest private funder of suicide prevention research,[1]having awarded more than $24 million in research grants.[2] The stated goals of the foundation are to educate the public about mental health and suicide prevention, support survivors of suicide loss, fund scientific research, and advocate for public policies around mental health and suicide prevention.[3] In addition to the national headquarters in New York City, the foundation also has a Public Policy office in Washington, D.C., as well as local chapters in all 50 states in the U.S., the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. [4] Through its local chapters and volunteer network, AFSP provides local communities with support services for survivors of suicide loss[5], educational programs for schools[6], workplaces[7] and other places in the community, and awareness and fundraising events such as the Out of the Darkness Walks.[8] The Public Policy office uses volunteer Field Advocates to support mental health and suicide prevention legislation and policies at the federal, state and local level.[9]

Bradshaw's Guide to Victoria.Regarding your note that the section on the closure of the Guide needs to be improved, I have made a number of additions in reference to changes brought about due to WWII. I believe that your note is therefore no longer necessary. Albert Isaacs (talk) 01:39, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for your comments, but I do not resile from what I said earlier. If you get a chance to look at Bradshaw's you'll see that the negative comments that I made do stand up. Frankly, in its last years, the arrangement of the TT was just a mess! I really suggest that the changes that I made remain!Albert Isaacs (talk) 00:25, 22 October 2023 (UTC)

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Country_Gazette_(band)I suggest the Country Gazette album 'Live at McCabe's' isn't a real live recording. Listen to the audience. They're inaudible except between songs. Further, I detect 'wall of sound' studio shenanigans regarding the singing. There are many albums out there claiming to be live, but they aren't. I haven't been able to find any confirmation of my speculation, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong. Probably the best way to find out would be to ask Alan Munde himself - but one needs Wonder Woman's 'golden lasso of truth' to make sure he's honest - I suggest they did appear live at McCabe's, and maybe that concert was recorded, but the version on the CD has significant studio embellishments. Specifically, how to add to the list of Pugwashites - Rudi Lemberg. It's already been good reading your Talk page - gaining understanding of good practice, like the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Coincidentally this week I'll be meeting up with the Lifeline Australia, Sydney book manager and I saw their Wiki page could be up dated. Article DescriptionsHello @SimLibrarian! I'm Marshall Miller; I work in the Product+Technology department in the Wikimedia Foundation. I saw in my Recent Changes feed that you have been adding lots of article descriptions lately. Thank you for your hard work! I work with the teams who build that feature, and I was hoping to hear a bit about why you like adding article descriptions, how you choose which articles to add them to, how you proceed through them quickly, and if you have any thoughts on how the workflow could be improved. Please let me know if you can! I'm also happy to answer any questions you have. MMiller (WMF) (talk) 18:35, 30 January 2025 (UTC)

I work with Felidae Conservation Fund and was recently notified that the current wikipedia page for the Bay Area Puma Project is inaccurate. I am not sure who added what information, but since you were the last contributor on the article, I was wondering if it's possible for you to make some corrections? The project being described is actually the https://www.santacruzpumas.org/ project. I am not sure how to edit this myself, but if the title and sources could be updated to reflect the actual project that would be awesome! Thank you in advance.
