What I understand is that the problem is with citations and the tone of writing. I have tried to tone down the language as per the wiki guidelines. My problem area is the citation part. The person I am making this page for is a well-known actor in West Bengal, India but somehow the articles published about him in newspapers and magazines are pretty old and most of them do not have a website link. I can provide you with the scanned images of the paper-cuttings though, along with the newspapers' names and dates on which those articles were published for authenticity. But what I understand is that this will not help until there is a website link to those articles. Some of the movies mentioned in the draft are up on YouTube and DailyMotion as videos and I had tried to cite them but I am not sure if they will get accepted or not. Kindly guide me. Why is someone still not "Notable" even after getting attention of the field experts and after critics' articles on his/her creative work have appeared in acclaimed national newspapers? 2. If it is not critics' reviews published in national newspapers, what else is the one conclusive proof that a poet or writer is notable? 3. Please help me understand how the notability of Ghazanfar Mehdi was ascertained, and what does that accepted article contain as a way of proof of notability that is lacking in this draft? 4. Please clearly indicate where references are not adequate so they could be improved or the relevant part of the article be deleted. I have a number of other articles in mind that I wanted to add, but have stopped because don't want to waste time writing articles unless I know where my mistakes are. A true help is when you indicate where improvement is needed instead of summarily declining a draft. Best Regards |
