Please understand that Sterling's signature call is not specific to any of these World Series. When you heard "Theeeeeeee Yankees win!" you will know it's from Sterling. But you won't know exactly which one it's about. So I suggest that leave the signature calls in Sterling's page only. Stop inserting narrative opinions regarding the 94 strike into the Yankees WP article. Whether it's citing a book or not is irrelevant - saying it was the darkest day in NY sports history, shook the fans to their core etc these are OPINIONS. You seem to be convinced Dave Garroway and Jack Lescoulie were in Washington, D.C., along with Jim Fleming, for Today's coverage of Eisenhower's inauguration on January 20, 1953. When attempts were made to correct your edits, you offered (with no backing evidence) the statement, "Today, during presidential inaugurations, is in Washington, not from both New York and Washington."

Incorrect. At least in this case.

I refer you to NBC's own rundown for that day's coverage, as transcribed from the surviving kinescope:

"JIM FLEMING SEEN IN D.C. COMMUNICATION CENTER FOR NBC'S INAUGURATION COVERAGE...GARROWAY SEEN IN N.Y. STUDIO...LESCOULIE IN STUDIO ANNOUNCES IT'S 5 MINUTES BEFORE 8 AM." [Emphasis mine]

Now please, let the correct edit stand.

Hi. Could you please stop inserting this into the Chicago Bulls article? It's an awkward digression, and it's hard to understand. If you want, you can briefly mention that the Blackhawks and Bulls were in the finals at the same time, but it's just not necessary to go off on a tangent about the New York Rangers.

Thanks for responding. I still think that the bit about Mike Keenan is a little too detailed for an article about basketball. Your additions also fit poorly within the flow of the text. Try reading the articles from beginning to end.

One could connect Phil Jackson to all kinds of topics, but you can't include every possible fact about him in the article. I also see that you've started editing the Houston Rockets pages. Unfortunately, it appears that you are misrepresenting the Blinebury article from the Houston Chronicle. I can access it through ProQuest. The only person to provide a quote about the Rangers is Carroll Dawson, and he doesn't even say that the players watched the game, just that they saw the parade.
