Hi Reconrabbit, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:
Hello Recon, you had a good question I corrected the access-date. I simply copy-pasted the info already known on the plan of establishing the stable, I didn't thought of the date coherence. Cheers ! :) - OtharLuin (talk) 17:08, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
The way it is written now it is not clear why Nepal in Data should have a Wikipedia article. Maybe you can use information from other sources to make this more clear. As it is now it isn't any more distinct than any other Nepal related source of data (like those listed in this article: [1]). You can look on Google to find more sources like this one [2] or this [3]. Reconrabbit18:00, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
Edit of Draft:Thriveworks
Hello,
Thank you again for reviewing my Draft: Thriveworks Article. I appreciate your feedback and want to ensure I fully address the concerns regarding notability.
I believe Thriveworks meets Wikipedia’s notability criteria, and the sources I provided are in-depth, reliable, secondary, and strictly independent of the company. However, I would value your insight on why these sources may not be considered sufficient, and how I can ensure the article meets the necessary standards.
According to Wikipedia's guidelines, a primary test of notability is whether independent, unrelated individuals have published non-trivial works focused on the subject. I believe the sources provided meet this standard, as they are unbiased news outlets with no vested interest in Thriveworks. Additionally, Wikipedia requires independent content to include original opinion, analysis, and fact-checking, which I feel is evident in our sources.
Given this, can you reconsider your position? Else can you advise what I can do in the article to adjust it. Please know I'm committed to making any necessary adjustment to meet Wikipedia’s guidelines given my COI.
Thanks for reaching out. I will admit that the structure of the draft is rather bare after restructuring it according to Bonadea's instructions. I will also note that editors including myself are cautious about the provenance of extremely local news sources like Patch Media and articles like those from Behavioral Health Business that describe business transactions in the organization's own words. I will make some small changes - as I feel like more can be drawn from each of these sources while maintaining neutral point of view - and request a third opinion from the Articles for Creation reviewers. Reconrabbit13:40, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
Hi @Mfunderburk, I'm another AfC reviewer and have taken another look at your draft. @Reconrabbit was correct to decline it based on the sources: I agree that every source is reliable but what I am not seeing is independence. Every source is based off a press release or interview with the CEO, and there is not enough independent analysis and discussion to quite put us over the edge of notability yet. I would class quite a few of the sources you've used as churnalism and therefore we can't use them to establish notability.
If you can give me three, just three, really strong sources that each meet the following requirements: reliable, independent, significant coverage. We really want to see in-depth independent analysis separate to a regurgitated press release or interview.
Hey @Qcneand @Reconrabbit, Thank you both for the detailed feedback—it’s truly helpful, and I appreciate the time you’ve taken to help me navigate this process. I completely understand your points about the need for reliable, independent, and in-depth sources that go beyond interviews or press releases. I’ll keep that in mind for future drafts.
Additionally, I had a question about sources that reviewed our company completely unprompted and independently—no conflict of interest exists with these. However, I was cautious about including them since they sometimes read like a marketing piece. These sources are:
I've seen similar pages sourced in articles on other mental health companies, so I wanted to confirm if these might be acceptable. If they qualify, I believe they could provide additional independent analysis needed to strengthen our case for notability.
I accepted the draft following this analysis. Will be copying these comments to the talk page of the article to keep the record in one place. The article will also be reviewed by a new page patroller so a third (fourth?) opinion will be forthcoming. Reconrabbit15:57, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
Nancy Neveloff Dubler
Dear Reconrabbit -
Recently, you reviewed a draft article about bioethicist Nancy Neveloff Dubler (deceased), and dismissed it on the grounds that it was overly promotional of Dubler, and had insufficient references.
I am not the original author - but I am an autoconfirmed Wikipedia user and a professional familiar with Nancy Dubler's work and significance. Your criticisms were valid. But since the date of your comment, the author and I significantly edited the draft to
(1) make it neutral, formal and more like an encyclopedia entry;
(2) add criticisms of Dubler's work, with references, and
(3) add far more independent references.
This is now a neutral and thoroughly referenced article - it appears to me far more extensively referenced than many Wikipedia biographical entries of this modest size.
I regarded the revised draft as ready to move to the main space, and I just did so. But I see it still recites your criticism at the start of the article . Could you please look at the article again - I'm sure you will find that your criticism has been addressed. And if so, please remove that comment. Thank you, and thank you for your comments which resulted in an improved article.
Certainly, I've taken a second look at the article, and take no issue with you publishing it from a draft manually. The comments and other notices at the top of the article were left over, as an article published through Articles for Creation will normally be cleaned up and all those comments removed by a script.
Do take note that the article is considered an "orphan" for the moment as it is impossible for anyone to reach the page from elsewhere without searching for it. I can add some categories and do further cleanup to make sure it meets the standards of the manual of style here. Reconrabbit18:56, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
I delinked the name as my interpretation of MOS:LINKONCE in that the name of the company is already stated in the text of the section where the image and caption is present. I do not see it as helpful to provide a fourth link to the same location in the article. Reconrabbit20:32, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
I believe you misread it. It is referring to more than one link in the text of the section. See "Link a term at most once per major section... Other mentions may be linked if helpful, such as in ... image captions." --184.153.21.19 (talk) 21:04, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
Hello! I was not sure if you were aware that the review for Good Article designation is underway. I have only received confirmation so far, not any comments or requests for alterations. I am watching the article, but if you see anything that needs attention and can do it, please do! BoatnerdJenn (talk) 13:59, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
I added some more to the article and made some other small edits. I should be totally done with it by noon tomorrow. In the meantime, fresh eyes are always good for editing! BoatnerdJenn (talk) 04:17, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
I think I have done what I can do for now, hopefully it is enough because finding that information takes a lot of digging. Big Turtle put in some subheadings. I did some edits, but needed to focus on putting in the information. Let me know if I missed anything! BoatnerdJenn (talk) 16:49, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
Welcome, welcome, welcome Reconrabbit! I'm glad that you are joining the November 2024 drive! Please, have a cup of WikiTea, and go cite some articles.
Hey there! I've been relatively inactive on Wikipedia recently, and I just wanted to say thanks for your work on improving Group 5 element, and to wish you good luck with the other element articles currently at B. 141Pr -\contribs/- 20:41, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
Thank you, for bringing it to GA. Much of my focus has turned to European rabbit and related articles. I still do my best of course. Radon is next. Once I can get my hands on Inorganic Chemistry by Holleman and Wiberg. Reconrabbit21:12, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
Hey ReconRabbit, I've just performed your requested move of Active thermography. However, I don't think I used any page mover powers to do this - I'm pretty sure you could've done this yourself with no additional userrights. Give it a shot next time! Best, Toadspike[Talk]07:14, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
You're correct, except I didn't need to do a swap. The edit summary shows Toadspike moved page Infrared non-destructive testing of materials to Active thermography over redirect – as long as the redirect has only one edit, anyone can move a page over it (details at WP:MOR). Technically, the redirect gets deleted, with the cool side effect that it looks like I deleted the page even though I am not an admin. Toadspike[Talk]14:08, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
There might actually be some trouble - the talk page has to be moved as well, and the target has history from Cewbot maintaining the talk page banner. I can't copy and paste the stuff with attribution because there's a VRT ticket. Reconrabbit18:02, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
I looked into it since I need to move another page now (Draft:PachiPara)... the page mover user right gives you delete-redirect, which lets you delete single-revision redirects. Extended-confirmed users don't get that normally, that's why I have to ask for G6 when approving AfC drafts that have blocking redirects. Reconrabbit18:12, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
Technically you can delete single-revision redirects, but they have to point to the title you're moving from. Page mover's delete-redirect allows me to delete single-revision redirects with any target.
I copied over the acceptance notice to User:RustyOldShip's talk page. Thank you for submitting it for them. If there's anything else I should do please let me know... I'll probably occupy myself with filling out one or two of the red links on that page, starting with Quinmerac. Reconrabbit14:35, 22 November 2024 (UTC)

Thank you for taking the time to go through even despite the many issues that I somehow didn't realize were there. I feel like I'm missing something on what a good animal article should be structured like. I put a lot of stock in Pwoli, a user who wrote most of that article, but given that they introduced that copyright-violating statement back in 2020 I don't know how much of this I can trust. I'll follow the guidance you gave in the review before it was failed and keep working on it. Reconrabbit02:05, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
Also, while Animal Diversity Web may be written by students, it clearly cites sources in the text and articles are reviewed by staff at the University of Michigan prior to publishing. The website is a useful resource and is both accessible and readable. It's considered a reliable source by at least one project though I don't have the link to the discussion that led to that consideration and it's used frequently in (for example) giant eland. Reconrabbit02:28, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
Hey! Cool, thanks for continuing working on it – happy to help out if there are any questions/problems. Regarding the Animal Diversity Web – all right, I was just checking. But remember that it is a tertiary source; I recommend to check with the actual sources when in doubt. (Also note that the above message was automatically delivered by a bot, and this bot does not put your discussion page on my watchlist. If you respond to these bot notices, you have to ping the user otherwise they are unlikely to see your response.) --Jens Lallensack (talk) 13:57, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
Autopatrolled granted
Hi Reconrabbit, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.
Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.
Hi, I noticed that you dePRODed YTHT and added some sources to the Talk page. Could you add them to the article or explain to me how the sources show significant coverage? I may send this article to AfD since no sourcing improvements have actually taken place. HyperAccelerated (talk) 20:20, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
It seemed to me that there was significant coverage present in the sources present in the Chinese Wikipedia article zh:一塌糊涂BBS, though only a couple of the links seem to have substantive material. I looked on Google and found a few hits on 一塌糊塗BBS that looked substantive. It's possible that a lot of this info was copied from the Chinese Wikipedia article though. I added the "sources exist" because these seemed to be substantive and were used on the other Wikipedia but I have no way to read them. If you think this was out of line I will not object to you reverting my removal of the PROD. Reconrabbit20:55, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
Question from Dan H Barouch (19:55, 9 December 2024)
I see the image here File:Dan Barouch 10-15-24.jpg but it seems that this image is copyrighted MGH Photography 2024 and thus cannot be used on Wikipedia. You would have to ask the photographer or the company to release this photo under a compatible Creative Commons license to use it. Reconrabbit20:47, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
November 2024 WikiProject Unreferenced articles backlog drive – award
Citation Barnstar
This award is given in recognition to Reconrabbit for collecting more than 27.0 points during the WikiProject Unreferenced articles's NOV24 backlog drive. Your contributions played a crucial role in sourcing over 8,000 unsourced articles during the drive. Thank you so much for participating and helping to reduce the backlog! – DreamRimmer Alt (talk) 17:52, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
Question from Sarah Momor (06:30, 13 December 2024)
Hi, some guy accused me of vandalizing a page when I just made a genuine mistake. I had reverted my mistake by removing only my parts, to try to get the page back to the way it was before I had edited it. It was hours after that the guy messaged my talk page accusing me of vandalizing. --Sarah Momor (talk) 06:30, 13 December 2024 (UTC)
I think that the response that you were vandalizing was an overreaction, but it does look like you are making many edits to the same pages quickly, which makes it hard to see what you're trying to do. Rather than continuing to make changes, then undoing yourself, try and use the show preview button to make sure it looks correct. Tables can be hard to work with. If you have any doubts, point out what you are trying to do on the talk page before actually making changes.
In the case of NSYNC discography, I can imagine some people would take issue with Bye Bye Bye being listed as part of a soundtrack when it was also a single that released years earlier. I'm sure NSYNC music has appeared in many films as "needle drops" rather than original music for the soundtrack, as is probably the case for Deadpool and Wolverine. Reconrabbit14:59, 13 December 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for asking me to look at this. I don't think I can mark this article as reviewed yet, as a lot of the text is sourced to Jimmy Rex's work. He is probably a notable figure, based on recognition from other sources early and later on in the article. I worry about the Controversy section - normally there would need to be a much better source than Vice News to justify keeping this information in the page, especially since Jimmy is still a semi-public figure. Reconrabbit15:38, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
Hi, this is an automated reminder as part of Global reminder bot to let you know that your permission "patroller" (New page reviewers) will expire on 00:00, 23 December 2024 (UTC). For most rights, you will need to renew at WP:PERM, unless you have been told otherwise when your right was approved. To opt out of user right expiry notifications, add yourself to m:Global reminder bot/Exclusion.Leaderbot (talk) 19:42, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
If "the gemstone business" provides a reader with a better understanding of what is being described, that should be used. Since it is clear Hughes works in gemology, either would be fine, but your suggested change seems good to me.
On 1 January 2025, a one-month backlog drive for good article nomination reviews will begin in hopes of addressing the growing backlog.
Barnstars will be awarded based on the number, length, and age of nominations reviewed.
Each article review will earn 1 point; for each 90 days an article has been in the backlog, an additional half-point is awarded; one extra point will be awarded for every 2500 total reviewed words.

Seoane talks about the rabbit's history in pages 347-348. He mentions the likely Iberian origin, Pliny, Strabo, and the story of the rabbit in the Balearics. Nowadays I would have placed the reference elsewhere on the text.
Blázquez's La Romanización is meant to be the source for Celtiberia being called "cuniculosa", which is originally from Catullus. This book is not online. However if you search for "Catullus cuniculosa" in Google Books you get several hits, for example this.
Happy new year. That is especially helpful, since the search-only copies of La Romanización I was finding online were not showing any results for "Cuniculo", "conejo", or the related terms I was searching.
I still have plenty of reorganizing and expanding before European rabbit is ready for FAC but you just put it one step closer. Reconrabbit15:52, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
