User talk:Python eggsWikiProject BeijingHey Python eggs! I'm currently planning the launch of the WikiProject Beijing, depending on if enough other editors would be interested in such a project. I saw you have edited the main Beijing page recently or in several times in the past and therefor might be interested. If you are, please sign: User:Poeloq/WikiProject_Beijing. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged. As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Beijing SubwayHi, I had added a category (Siemens Transportation Systems Projects), for as Beijing Line 10s signaling system is supplied by Siemens AG. However this category was removed, unfortunately without stating a reason. In my opinion the supply of equipment worth in general several million EURO should be worth a categorization, however I understand that only one line supplied might not qualify. Harbin–Dalian High-Speed Railway and othersCan you please explain your rationale for moving Harbin–Dalian Passenger Railway to Harbin–Dalian High-Speed Railway. I moved all of the articles to a X–Y Passenger Railway format in order to maintain consistency. In Chinese, these lines are referred to as 客运专线, which roughly translates as "passenger dedicated line" or "passenger railway" but nowhere do I see the words "High-Speed." In contrast, the Beijing to Shanghai High Speed Railway is correct because in Chinese it is actually named 高速铁路, the words 高速 clearly indicating High-Speed. Also, explain your rationale for reverting all of my moves for Qinshen Passenger Railway and such. Please take a read at Wikipedia:NC-CHINA#Transportation as the new naming convention is to name the articles with the termini stations, aka Qinhuangdao and Shenyang, not Qinshen. Please explain your rationale and/or conform to naming conventions set by WP:NC-CHINA. Thank you Heights(Want to talk?) 20:21, 3 July 2011 (UTC)
Your reverts to the Beijing Hong Kong High Speed Railway lineVarious sources now say that the former Beijing-Guangzhou line is now the Beijing-Hong Kong line, in Chinese it is now called 京港高速铁路, if you see Chinese Wikipedia, Baidu, etc. http://money.163.com/09/1224/08/5R9N2DGH002526O5.html You seem to point out that a railway line can not be international however this simply does not make sense. Trains DO and will run straight through to Hong Kong (West Kowloon station). Even articles for that specific section of line between Guangzhou and Hong Kong have been created (see Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link). Isn't that a legitimate international railway line, if you constitute Hong Kong as a separate administrative region? The Beijing Hong Kong High Speed is simply the old Beijing Guangzhou High Speed + this new Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong XRL. Many sources use Beijing Hong Kong high speed and you cant simply try to hide and pretend it's still terminating at Guangzhou. Also I'd appreciate it if you leave some form of discussion or talk page first before going in and reverting my edits at your own will as I simply don't do that to yours in order to avoid my actions being interpreted as an edit conflict.
