I welcome your contributions, but please be careful when using jargon. Phrases such as Noting that the Hamiltonian is hermitian, the Schrödinger equation implies that the norm of ${\displaystyle |\Psi (t)\rangle }$ is constant. may be all a physics major requires, but to the rest of us, it might as well be written in ancient Sumerian.
