Should we redact this revision? rude/unconstructive edit summary
Hi, I got to you via WP:Revision deletion. The edit I'm concerned about is this on {{Lang-rus}}. The edit summary starts with an insult, which IMHO should be redacted. The second sentence is less rude and gives a reason for the reversion, but it's wrong: this wasn't a case of overlinking, the link was actually redundant because the template adds a link automatically. So it seems to me that we could drop the whole edit summary and lose nothing of value.
@W.andrea the only possible criterion that could apply is "RD2. Grossly insulting, degrading, or offensive material" and, imo, the edit summary doesn't meet that criterion. Less than polite, certainly, but not to the extent of being grossly insulting. As it's going on two years old I think this is a case of letting sleeping dogs lie.
