I'm a little upset that you insist on adding the primary source tag on top. The article is short, and most of the content is covered by both the primary source and the other two sources (non primary). Also, in the place where you added a better citation tag, I believe that section is covered by other sources as well. I'll take a deeper look at that. Cheers. @Outedexits: Welcome to Wikipedia. Please take a look at the guidelines on identifying reliable sources. The Underberg company's own website is clearly not a third-party source. The Drinks Enthusiast blog is a self-published source, and TheDrinkShop.com is just a retail site with a couple of user-generated reviews. Statements regarding the product stimulating digestion or breaking down alcohol are contentious and require citations from reliable sources. Nick Number (talk) 03:06, 29 October 2015 (UTC)

The references 4,5,6,7 are not relevant to SOAU and readers. It has nothing to do with the accreditation agency. So "The university also claims certification by the International Accreditation Organization,[4] a website which The New York Times and other sources have reported as a distributor of illegitimate degrees.[5][6][7]' and the references 4-7 need to be deleted. If you are not sure, then you should remove the entire ambiguous sentence and references. By the way, well established Indian Universities do not need foreign accreditation. As you know SOAU is well accredited with Indian Government agencies. Even if these references stay in the Wikipedia pages nothing will happen to the University's reputation and functioning. People of India believe in Indian accreditation agencies than foreign accreditation agencies. Therefore baseless and ambiguous sentences and references should be removed to maintain Wikipedia standard.

@Boism: Well, is this initialism mentioned prominently in any articles? As articulated in more detail at MOS:DABENTRY, the purpose of disambiguation page entries is to aid navigation to specific Wikipedia articles, rather than to list every possible definition of the term. Are you aware that there *are* specific links to this section and that countless subsection links have been broken in the past because someone changed the name of the section heading?

Generally speaking, such broken links go unnoticed for ages. I'm quite confident that neither you- nor I- would be willing to waste time keeping an eye on that page watching for the point at which the heading title is changed.

@Ubcule: There are presently two incoming links to that section. An anchor tag is superfluous for a few reasons. For one, STV is a disambiguation page and thus should have very few incoming links. For another, Television channels and stations is the top section on the page. Even without a section link, it's the first thing someone will see when following a link directly to STV.

The anchor tag would only become useful in a scenario where someone chose to rename the section and move it farther down the page. There's no particular reason to believe that both of these things will happen. Even if they did, the harm caused would not be significant - someone would just need to scroll down a little farther to find the appropriate entries.

One could make a case for adding such an anchor tag to every section in every article, but this is neither feasible nor necessary. Nick Number (talk) 00:14, 6 June 2016 (UTC)

I generally wouldn't add an anchor to every section, only ones where I knew there were already links *and* that the section title stood a high chance of being changed.

The addition was perhaps a little longwinded, but I wanted to retain the link name as being the same as that of the section to avoid confusing people.

That said, for the reasons you give, it's probably not as significant nor as important if this one gets broken than it might be for some other cases, so I'm not about to argue the point further for this case.

Hi.would you please remove the templates of [1] ? The article was originated in 2010 without my knowledge, and I stumbled across it by accident. As a Wiki novice I added to it, unknowingly making it a borderline between biography and autobiography. An editor informed me of the risk if I were to continue, so I made no further additions. A portion was removed in 2016 at the recommendation of an Editor. It has now been in place 6 years, and there have been hundreds of views - possibly by researchers of patents and publications - without viewer corrections other than format. The Tag inviting corrections may have served it's purpose, and your review for removal would be appreciated. Luceyg (talk) 14:26, 28 August 2016 (UTC)

Hi. I just changed the reference format you added at Glossary of association football terms. The article talk page makes clear why Cite web is a bad idea on a page such as this and WP:CITEVAR also suggests that adding a template when they are not being used for cites on the page is a bad idea as well. I'm sure you just added the format you usually use, but it's worth a thought and a check in my experience - many people aren't aware of the issues with Cite web and simply use it out of habit.

@Blue Square Thing: It's not reasonable to expect every editor to read the entire talk page for an article before editing it. That one is particularly long as well. Your recent edit summaries sound increasingly exasperated about this. I have the following suggestions:

1. If the length of the list is causing performance issues, split it into separate lists, à la Glossary of education terms which is divided into seven parts. That would allow editors to use the templates they're used to and not have to adjust their behavior for what is strictly a technical problem and not one of style.
2. If you're unable to achieve consensus for splitting, at least add an edit notice about the citation requirements. That would somewhat increase the chances of someone seeing them.
3. In either case it would be a good idea to archive off older discussions on the talk page. That makes it easier for people to find and comment on current discussions. Nick Number (talk) 14:33, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
