LaabsIf you find time for it, please take a look at the article about Gustav Laabs. Any help is appreciated and I will of course add you to the DYK nom for the article.--BabbaQ (talk) 22:36, 19 September 2015 (UTC) I'm a little upset that you insist on adding the primary source tag on top. The article is short, and most of the content is covered by both the primary source and the other two sources (non primary). Also, in the place where you added a better citation tag, I believe that section is covered by other sources as well. I'll take a deeper look at that. Cheers. PatballIt appears you've deleted some contributions on the history of patball. Any reason for this? Bobedda (talk) 21:47, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
Do you have any reason to doubt the validity of the statements? I assure you they are true statements. Almost all of the other information on the page is not sourced either. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobedda (talk • contribs) 22:07, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
File mover![]() Hello Nick Number. Your account has been granted the "file mover" user right, either following a request for it or due to a clear need for for the ability to move files. Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:File mover for more information on this user right and under what circumstances it is okay to move files. When you move a file please remember to update any links to the new name as well! If you do not want the file mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! Siksha O Anusandhan UniversityThe references 4,5,6,7 are not relevant to SOAU and readers. It has nothing to do with the accreditation agency. So "The university also claims certification by the International Accreditation Organization,[4] a website which The New York Times and other sources have reported as a distributor of illegitimate degrees.[5][6][7]' and the references 4-7 need to be deleted. It is not good for wikipedia to show something irrelevant and ridiculous. Readers will get annoyed! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.88.12.235 (talk) 15:01, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
130.88.12.235 (talk) 10:48, 18 April 2016 (UTC)It is AIAO (American International Accreditation Organization). See the webpage http://www.aiao-bar.org/ . so the last sentence in the section Accreditation and Ranking should be deleted! 130.88.12.235 (talk) 15:23, 18 April 2016 (UTC)There is only one accreditation organization in USA i.e. AIAO. But this webpage https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axact is pakistan based!Indian universities do not get accreditation from Pakistani websites! So there is a typo there in the SOAU webpage and it should be written as AIAO instead. for further clarification on this please contact the University administration. E-mail: [email protected] Telephone: +91-674- 2350635, 2350791, Fax: +91 - 674 - 2350642. Any ambiguous sentences and references need to be removed from wikipedia webpages to maintain quality standard. 130.88.12.235 (talk) 10:29, 19 April 2016 (UTC)Do you have any confirmation that SOAU is accredited to Pakistan based IAO as the link (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axact) in the SOAU Wikipedia page suggests? If you are not sure, then you should remove the entire ambiguous sentence and references. By the way, well established Indian Universities do not need foreign accreditation. As you know SOAU is well accredited with Indian Government agencies. Even if these references stay in the Wikipedia pages nothing will happen to the University's reputation and functioning. People of India believe in Indian accreditation agencies than foreign accreditation agencies. Therefore baseless and ambiguous sentences and references should be removed to maintain Wikipedia standard. Speedy deletion nomination of Telly Awards![]() A tag has been placed on Telly Awards requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason: "The Telly Awards" is improperly named (no "The" in actual title per official website) and belongs here. It should have a hatnote referring to the current target of this redirect instead.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi, You removed Request More Information from the page because there was no link on the line and it's against DDD rules, but by doing so you remove valuable information. Instead of deleting information, may you please help me find a constructive way to keep this information available? Thanks and regards — Boism 01:41, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
Are you aware that there *are* specific links to this section and that countless subsection links have been broken in the past because someone changed the name of the section heading? Generally speaking, such broken links go unnoticed for ages. I'm quite confident that neither you- nor I- would be willing to waste time keeping an eye on that page watching for the point at which the heading title is changed. Help - George Kenneth Lucey Jr.Hi.would you please remove the templates of [1] ? The article was originated in 2010 without my knowledge, and I stumbled across it by accident. As a Wiki novice I added to it, unknowingly making it a borderline between biography and autobiography. An editor informed me of the risk if I were to continue, so I made no further additions. A portion was removed in 2016 at the recommendation of an Editor. It has now been in place 6 years, and there have been hundreds of views - possibly by researchers of patents and publications - without viewer corrections other than format. The Tag inviting corrections may have served it's purpose, and your review for removal would be appreciated. Luceyg (talk) 14:26, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
Use of Cite Web at Glossary of association football termsHi. I just changed the reference format you added at Glossary of association football terms. The article talk page makes clear why Cite web is a bad idea on a page such as this and WP:CITEVAR also suggests that adding a template when they are not being used for cites on the page is a bad idea as well. I'm sure you just added the format you usually use, but it's worth a thought and a check in my experience - many people aren't aware of the issues with Cite web and simply use it out of habit. Just so as you know the rationale for my changes when it pops up on your watchlist... Blue Square Thing (talk) 08:43, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
