I just found out the article was re-created soon after AFD. Do you think it's similar to deleted revisions of the article? Speaking of revision, I wonder whether you can un-delete them. George Ho (talk) 18:12, 7 November 2022 (UTC)
Going back to the 2017 versions of the article, they are different from one another. I don't think a refund here is warranted. The only value would be for attribution of any existing content from the deleted version which I'm not seeing much of any, especially when comparing it to the 2022 version. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! @64.136.121.66: The article has been protected since 2008 and in 2015, I restored editing access to autoconfirmed editors. The article still receives a significant amount of traffic and do not suspect it would be any less prone to vandalism than in its past. Given how many administrators have been involved in the protection status, long before my adjustment, I think you need to seek community consensus on Talk:Paul McCartney to have it fully unlocked. You are invited to join the Wikimedia NYC community for our Hacking Sunday at Prime Produce in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. It is intended primarily for technical contributors, though newcomers are welcome as well! The event runs for the whole day, though you are welcome to come by for as little or as long as you'd like.
A documentary filmmaker will be in attendance, working on Rabbit Hole, which aims to document Wikipedia's community to showcase how our network tackles important questions about how history is recorded. They will be in attendance to film snippets of this gathering for the documentary. It is completely optional to be a part of the film and there will be protocols in place if you wish to not be filmed. This is a sequel event to the 2023 Governors Island Wiknic and will feature a workshop led by AfroCrowd at the ArtCrawl Harlem house. We'll also encourage collaboration for wiki-coverage of ArtCrawl Harlem's current exhibition at Governors Island.

You are invited to join the Wikimedia NYC community for the "Editing to the Beat" event of the beginner-focused Wikicurious series at Lehman College. This is the second event of the series, following the inaugural event at Civic Hall in July. Led by a 9-person live band demonstrating Caribbean and Latin musical genres, we'll engage with efforts such as WikiProject Latin Music, and will encourage editing on both English and Spanish Wikipedia. All are welcome, and newcomers and aspiring editors are especially encouraged to attend. Registration via Eventbrite is required for building entry, and is also encouraged on the event page on Meta.

This event, held by our chapter in collaboration with Pratt and Girls Who Code, will be our third annual celebration of Wikidata Day. The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Byng Arts Mini School until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.
