Could you please elaborate on your comment here regarding what kind of scandals which you are looking forward to includ in the BLP. I'm happy to add the scandals on the Talk page of the article for discussion before the edit. Thank you E.Saravanan (talk) 07:20, 7 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@G-Man380: If you mean you would like to include videos from your channel on Wikipedia topics, please read WP:YOUTUBE on the restrictions and how to do this.
It appears that you have the LintHint script installed. It should put a yellow "lintHint" button at the top of each page. I recommend clicking that button on the /sandbox and /testcases page before copying sandbox code to a live template. – Jonesey95 (talk) 19:46, 15 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Significa liberdade: fair enough. It's also worth noting that due to GSCASTE the editor in question isn't actually allowed to edit the draft, so you might still want to delete as a CTOP action. —Matrixping mewhen u reply (t? - c) 17:40, 18 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies, I now realize I read "Chetsford is indefinitely topic-banned from UFOs/UAPs and allegations of extraterrestrial contact with Earth, broadly construed, explicitly including people said to have experience or expertise with these." as your closing rather then the initial proposal.

Hi, I'm trying to make a contribution, maybe as a draft (because she is my wife), to add her name as an artist in tango music in Argentina. Her name is Victoria Di Raimondo. How can I suggest her to be added in Wikipedia? --AlBistue (talk) 22:12, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Question from BertieBoy2012 (01:06, 24 September 2025)
Sometimes I had been offered the option to review my edits, and sometimes not. Sometimes there was a checkbox to indicate whether the edit was minor, but mostly not. All but two of my edits were minor and were attempted fixes of notes formatting in the second of my two major edits. I had a lot of difficulty with fixing it - or attempting to, anyway - because of the mismatch between the visual editor (which I used only for checking output before publishing) did not correctly present the way the notes field format would publish. --BertieBoy2012 (talk) 01:06, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@BertieBoy2012: sorry to hear about your concerns. In my experience, sometimes the visual editor is inaccurate - we can't do anything about this. When you use the source editor, there's a preview box on the right which may be more helpful. I can also see you made a few mobile edits, and the interface is quite difficult to use in mobile. If you have further questions feel free to let me know. —Matrixping mewhen u reply (t? - c) 16:20, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Question from Kamiri Sammy (12:02, 24 September 2025)
I didn't follow the TFD at {{Culture of Italy}} et al., but something seems to have gone sideways at Italian comics. I fixed the navbox for you, but I don't see a link to Italian comics in the replacement, {{Italy topics}}. Is this still a work in progress of some kind? It appears that the result of the TFD was "merge", but if the comics article was missed in the merge, were other links missed as well? This report shows a lot of inconsistency. – Jonesey95 (talk) 01:44, 26 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Jonesey95: The Italian comics article was a manual edit by me and I clearly just didn't pay enough attention, my bad. As the discussion was "merge", I simply just converted existing culture templates to the topics ones, I didn't see if they were actually on the topics navboxes, since that's not my decision to make - I was just following consensus at the TfD. —Matrixping mewhen u reply (t? - c) 17:14, 26 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
"Merge" usually means that the resulting template would have all of the features and links of the resulting template. That usually requires editing of the target template. If the template was to simply be redirected to the target, the TFD outcome would have been "Redirect". – Jonesey95 (talk) 17:44, 26 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that seems to contradict WP:BIDIRECTIONAL, as did edits like this one that made the report of transclusions without links longer. I don't have an answer for you. It looks like the TFD did not analyze the differences between all of the pairs of templates, instead looking at only the pair for Albania. The WP:TRAINWRECK that Moxy predicted appears to have come to pass. I didn't look at any of the other "merged" (really redirected, apparently) sidebar templates, but I suspect that some of them suffered a similar fate. – Jonesey95 (talk) 18:53, 26 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Jonesey95:WP:BIDIRECTIONAL was already being violated with the culture templates, and I wasn't really aware of the policy BIDIRECTIONAL until you just stated it now. The other thing is individually reviewing every transclusion to check whether Template:Italy topics applies or if a more specific template should be used is a time consuming process (which I can't really be asked to do), and a simple find and replace using some clever JWB rules is a lot easier. (P.S. I'm not online tomorrow and maybe day after cos of Golu) —Matrixping mewhen u reply (t? - c) 20:10, 26 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If you don't actually want to perform the template merge so that the links are preserved per the guidelines, it is OK to leave them in the holding cell for someone who is willing to do so. – Jonesey95 (talk) 22:06, 26 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Have to think of what links our best for our readers.... have to remember those at the merger talk don't actually edit the articles in question and have no clue about the value of each article. Rule of thumb is top level articles in country nav templates so is still useful as outlined at WP:NAV-WITHIN. As for WP:BIDIRECTIONAL it is only used for pop culture type articles..... academic articles just don't follow mass link spam of this nature because they're generally better organized. Most of these deleted templates will simply be recreated over time as people will think that they are missing. We have people that all they do is make templates and we have people all that they do is be involved in discussions about templates. Moxy🍁22:20, 26 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Jonesey95: I think this is a much deeper structural issue. Looking at something like for the Netherlands or France, we see this issue is present as well. The intersection between those who know enough about the countries in question to decide which links to use, those who can use AWB/JWB to replace the templates, and those who have the time to do all of those is basically zero. It's better to just replace the culture box with the navbox, since otherwise nothing will be done. —Matrixping mewhen u reply (t? - c) 10:36, 28 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Question from Supisudan (09:50, 26 September 2025)
Question from Dianemromero (10:51, 27 September 2025)
Hello,
I am in the process of editing the 'Riverside South Manhattan' page with revisions about the history of the development of the project. My edits use three sources mainly from direct government city council links, an official New York city council city planning book, and a newspaper article from 1984.
This is my first time editing a wikipedia page and I had trouble with the citation code. I am under the impression that I should have hit preview instead of publish in order to view the code and that may have flagged my edits.
@Dianemromero: welcome to Wikipedia! I can see your edits were reverted by @Khagendrawiki so maybe they can give their rationale. If you're using the visual editor (as I can see in the tags) then you don't need all that code - just click the "cite" button in the top toolbar. If you want to do it manually with the source editor just let me know and I can explain. —Matrixping mewhen u reply (t? - c) 10:41, 28 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your reply. I also noticed my IP addressed was blocked and I think I had a VPN on in the background. When i disconnect it it looks like I can continue to edit the page. Should I proceed with my edit or will this get me blocked again? I would rather wait than lose access to the talk page. Dianemromero (talk) 04:11, 2 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Matrix! Ii6t's Marco again, I was wondering how one can undo edits performed by other peoeple for example, if an edit is counter-factual, because I have seen others do it but I don't know how. --Marco Kotze Araujo (talk) 14:16, 3 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
