Just noticed you're in this wikiproject ... if you're interested in having a quick look, we've got one aviation article at FAC now (Northrop YF-23) and one that will hopefully be back at FAC soon (Hawker Siddeley Harrier). I have known WHB personally, the profile is accurate and is very worthy of expansion. It is an informative page and could be expanded. Please review http://www.ucc.ie/law/restitution/archive/englcases/dexter.htm and see what it says, it outlines a court case of interest. Also check out http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/local/east-hampshire/payout_for_boat_damage_caused_by_spinnaker_tower_building_work_1_1228421 concerning vessel Brave Challenger. Everything said can be veried absolutely. There's loads in public record that is still out there to be pulled together and cited to expand the profile. Brave Challenger runs on Rolls Royce Proteus jet engines, worth citing. If WHB sees this wikipedia profile he maybe won't be a fan. Another connection to be cited is his brother Ormond- a skilled pilot killed in an air crash. Deleting this page would not be productive. A preemptive determination that this blog is "not a reliable source" as you suggested, simply because of its publishing platform is unwarranted. Examination of this blog will reveal that it is long established as a reliable observer and critic of local media in WFMY's market. Regarding the posts about WFMY specifically, you will see that they are sourced and documented and its reliability, therefore, should be judged by its content and not its platform.

The article needs to be written from a nuetral point of view. The opening sentence claims the industry is "vibrant", according to who? If this is how the industry is generally described, then some citations to reliable sources should clear that up. If it's how the author of this article describes the industry then it is personal opinion and does not belong in the article. There are additional claims of size and use of words like "dominated" that raise concerns about neutrality. The article as a whole needs to be reviewed and claims either cited or the language toned down.--RadioFan (talk) 19:17, 6 September 2011 (UTC)

Your argument of citing every single sentence is not new and I find it ridiculous to say the least. Must every single sentence made on Wikipedia be cited? I dont think that is possible. And one thing you cant deny is that the creating editor always has an opinion. There are very few editors on Wikipedia who have the ability to write an article without giving their opinions. What words would they use then? Anyway just so you know, I am the one that created the article and I find it odd that you state in your POV tag that the issue is being discussed on the talk page of the article yet you didn't add anything to the talk page. I thought part of the guidelines for using POV template is that you MUST state your reasons on the article's talk page? So maybe you can write what you are saying here on the talk page and we see who else comes up to dispute the neutrality. I said nothing about citing every single sentence. Nuetrality is policy, it's not optional, and it's central to the construction of the encyclopedia. Also keep in mind that Wikipedia is based only on what is verifiable. This also central to the encyclopedia. I'll gladly add some info on the talk page about the issues. Please do note that my concern is to solve the issue of neutrality that you claim exists on this article and therefore I have already replied to your arguments on the talk page of the article and would expect you to follow up with a rebuttal if you have one. Because like i said i think you are the only one who sees neutrality issues in this article therefore you have a duty to see it through to the end. I would advise you to ask other editors to take a look at the article and contribute on its talk page regarding the issue. Hi, I see you replaced the article with a redirect. As far as I can tell, both the artist (Rickie Lee Jones) and the song itself (among Billoboard's top five) are sufficiently notable to warrant an individual article pr WP:NSONGS#Albums, singles and songs. I haven't reverted your edit; I'd like to solicit your input first. For the record, this message is a follow-up to an OTRS complaint (ticket# 2011080510001114), but as a regular editor I do agree with the complainant. I've removed the redirect based on the claim of charting but as mentioned in the edit comment, the claim is dubious. Taking to talk on the article discussion. The artist's notability does help establish the notability of album articles but not songs per WP:NSONGS#Albums, singles and songs. Charting, awards and/or notable covers of the song do help. Also, I'm unable to access the ticket, can you assist there? According to this and this Billboard page, Chuck E.'s In Love did indeed peak at number four and stayed fifteen weeks on the chart. Good catch. Not sure why this wasn't showing up in the artist page. It's been added as a citation in the article. I've seen some issues like this with the Billboard database in the past. Adding the numbers up might not be accurate enough. A surprisingly large percentage of participants have been to multiple tweetups. Hey RadioFan,

Need your advise. Despite I can't find any reference to Pegasus Airlines flying from Ankara and Istanbul to Gokceada airport somebody has put this info back on the page again. I have removed once, but this came again and the person who did it left no reference to prove the info being correct. What do you do in that case? Thanks. In this case you may remove the material again and may continue to do so up to three times before running into problems. when removing the material, explain why in the comments and leave a note on the talk page of the editor who added it reminding them to include references for their claims. I have restored the tag for deletion on the image due to its resolution being too high to qualify for Fair Usage. This concern was stated in the deletion template when I originally placed it. The article isn't neutral, it's overly positive and contains a number of terms which promote rather than inform. " the brand has achieved " sounds like it was written by a PR firm. Something like "The channel has been viewed" is more neutral. Phrases like "the rapid success of founder and media mogul" are unnecessary and unsupported. Who called it rapid? Who calls the founder a "media mogul"? Claims like these must be backed up by reliable sources and even then they need to be written in a neutral way like "Founder Jamal Edward has been called a media mogul by the Daily Press and MTV News". Also referring to print media coverage as "column inches" is confusing to many readers at best and a tip off that this was written by a PR firm at worst. Hello, I want to complain about the user Karparthos. User:Karparthos For a week he deletes airlines and destinations from the article, Ben-Gurion Airport. He did not bring proof (and I have lots of proofs that he is wrong) and he continues to delete even the proof that show that he is wrong. I'd love if you send him a message to stop ,because he dont listen to me.

I've got a couple more books I can cite. I'm going to put them in this week. I've looked at the notability guidelines, and I believe I'll be OK with regards to them. Although it's true there is little written about him, virtually every book about the Adirondacks mentions him. They just don't say much. I also need to figure out how to get a picture or two of him to put on the page. I certainly don't want the page deleted, if you move it under my userid, how will I get to it? I have a problem with Assaf050. Because he always adding airlines and airports that do not serve Ben Gurion Airport. He is very creative with new destinations like Air Europa to the Barcelona which do not exist. Another example: He wrote Dubrovnik Airline to fly from Zagreb to Ben Gurion Airport which they do not. Look at the revision history of Ben Gurion Airport. He is the most editer of the airport. Do you think every of his contributions is true? I think nearly every of his contributions is wrong. I send lots of message to him but he doesn't want to listen to me.

When you remove material, you need to explain why. You both need to tone it down a bit with the accusations of vandalsim and questinging the truth of various additionas. Stick to the facts and make sure you have references to back up your claims or you are both going to get banned form editing. Remember, wikipedia isn't about what is "true" it's about what is verifiable. If a particular airline doesn't fly a particular route, go ahead and remove that but explain why and then put a note on the talk page explaining why it was removed and providing your reference for doing so (official web page for the airport, the airline, a published flight schedule, etc.)--RadioFan (talk) 22:47, 24 September 2011 (UTC)

Air Europa are operating flights to Tel Aviv and you can check on their website (in Spanish) Dubrovnik Airline are operating seasonal charter flights from Dubrovnik and Zagreb too to destinations in Europe and Israel. Hello, I have to pay attention to this big debate. I have a lot evidence that Assaf050 is right. I wrote to Mr. Karparthos my notes, but but because he is so childish he deleted my notes. He has no real evidence and he is not listen to us and continues to change things. I must say that I was a flight attendant of Air Canada on routes: Toronto-Zurich, Toronto - Tel Aviv and Toronto - London(UK) and I remember they operated flights to Tel Aviv all the year.

SwissMan, I dont want to get in the middle of a conflict between two editors and suggest that you think twice before doing so. WIkipedia policy is clear on this. If there are references and consensus among editors, the material stays. If there are no references and none can be located, it goes. Also, your personal experience, while interesting, are not a sufficient reference. A newspaper article on a new route or a flight schedule from one of the airlines is a suitable reference. Hello. This is Ian Baker. I'm a developer over at the Wikimedia Foundation.

tl;dr: We’re designing a much-improved UI for NPP tools, and we’re seeking guidance—and hopefully, screencasts of your NPP workflow—from expert New Page Patrollers like yourself. We’re asking for this so we can see (literally) what actions you take during patrolling which could be better supported through software.

I'm contacting you because, according to our statistics, you're a particularly active New Page Patroller on the English Wikipedia. Here at the WMF, we're working on a design for a much-improved NPP user interface. We hope that it will (as part of a larger strategy) address many outstanding issues in the article creation process, while also providing a more modern, streamlined and efficient UX for patrollers.

To do this successfully, we are relying upon the guidance of our most experienced patrollers. I'm sending this message to the ten most prolific patrollers in 2011, and a few other people who've been participating actively in this discussion.

Specifically, I'm hoping you can take a few minutes to record a screencast of yourself doing NPP. We're looking for a 10-15 minute session, but more is okay if you feel it's needed. Ideally, you'd first walk us through your process, explaining as you go, and then switch to doing NPP at your usual pace.

Our preliminary examination of this feature has shown that many experienced patrollers have evolved their own specially-tailored interface and workflow, often using external tools and plugins. Making an interface that works well will require understanding those tools and the motivation for using them. However, even if you haven't done that, observing your NPP technique will still be valuable, giving us insights into what factors inform your judgement, how you use the existing interface, and how long NPP generally takes an expert patroller such as yourself.

If you'd like to help, great! I've posted a set of instructions over at the relevant thread on the Article Creation Workflow talk page, which should get you everything you need to know. If something's missing or you have a question, post it there. That's also the place to go if you want to learn more about the reasoning behind this request.

I understand that people have differing expectations of privacy with regard to their own computer and voice. Therefore, you can either post this screencast publicly (place a link in the talk page above) or if you'd prefer, send it to me privately at [email protected].
