Thank you! Nice to get a bit of appreciation on this site at times! :-D The works not done yet, and from the looks of it, I will have to branch parts off into separate articles just so that I keep the article readable and concise. Feel free to help away. Mabuska(talk)10:56, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
Yes, fair play. I'm glad you mentioned branching parts off; it struck me that some, particularly in the history sections, would work in an [Irish Protestants] article, which currently redirects to PII. Gob Lofa (talk) 09:08, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
I'm trying to put together a list of the problematic edit types such as removing 'Provisional' with a view to some sort of community restriction as an alternative to a topic ban. Its taking a lot of time to check every edit at the moment and that is not sustainable in the long term. Given that the editor looks unlikely to modify their own behaviour I don't see any other alternative. You have more experience of the individual that I do so have you got. as they say "a little list"? ----SnowdedTALK07:26, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
I have "a little list" in my head and there are quite a few examples of edits that would give credence to a community restriction or topic-ban. Mabuska(talk)18:45, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
Birmingham pub bombings makes it a simple case to prove. I've given him a chance to revert if not I'll put something together as it is a Troubles issue so not ANI but Arbcom Enforcement ----SnowdedTALK19:50, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
I did indeed as the page already existed as a redirect so I couldn't simply move it. Should I restore and file a merge request with the old article going to the redirect namespace? Not sure what copyright issues there is. Mabuska(talk)18:21, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
You need to read the page I linked you to. Don't do anything more yourself. Just follow the instructions and an admin will do the necessary work. Everything on WP is copyright. The Creative Commons license only allows you to use content with attribution, but proper attribution is no longer possible if you do a copy and paste move, because the revision history is no longer associated with the article. BTW make sure to tell them you moved the talk page as well. Scolaire (talk) 20:07, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
Ah, I see. I posted a merge history request on the main article page. I will amend it to state the talk page as well. Thanks. Mabuska(talk)20:27, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
You're very welcome. I'm surprised how long it takes for somebody to respond to an unblock request. Maybe the United States needs to wake up first, I don't know. Scolaire (talk) 13:26, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
July drive: Thanks to everyone who participated in last month's backlog-reduction drive. Of the 24 people who signed up, 17 copyedited at least one article. Final results, including barnstars awarded, are available here.
August blitz: The one-week April blitz, targeting biographical articles that have been tagged for copy editing for over a year, will run from August 16–22. Awards will be given to everyone who copyedits at least one article from the article list on the blitz page. Sign up here!

"One academic's viewpoint does not quantify it's inclusion especially when it can't be cited in the article and made clear it is according to one academics viewpoint which thus falls foul of undue weight."Mabuska, please hop over to Christian terrorism if/when you feel like debating this further... ;-) BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ!10:58, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
I think being involved in one sensitive arena is enough for me lol, though feel free to borrow statements if you want ;-) Mabuska(talk)11:00, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
