AfC notification: Draft:Matt Walsh (pundit) has a new comment![]() Your submission at Articles for creation: Matt Walsh (pundit) (February 18)![]() This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources. This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject. The comment the reviewer left was:
I'm seeing quite a few low-quality sources in the article. This is a biography of a living person. I have very little doubt that Matt Walsh is notable, but the article needs to be cleaned up to be brought into the mainspace. The use of future tense to describe perpetual behaviors of Walsh is generally informal, while there seems to be quite a bit of spin in the way many of the sources are used. In general, WP:NOR and WP:NPOV command that we write what our sources say, no more and no less. We do not that we look at our sources, analyze them, and then write something that is different than they claim (original research/synthesis) nor do we present article subjects in a way that the tone of the reliable sources don't actually support (POV spinning). This needs substantial work. Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
