remove an entry

Logan;

I'm not sure if this is possible. I'm not real familiar with how this all works. Someone put up an article about me (E Glenn Wagner) a number of years ago. Then, I went through a bad time and the negative information was posted. I tried to remove it, but apparently since it is "sourced" it was put back on.

The difficulty is several fold: First, the citation articles are not an accurate representation of what actually happened, althought it was what got spread through the media. Second, I'm not longer in that "profession" and at 66 and working on an entirely different career trying to make a living. When people search for me, up comes the article.

Is there anyway, since i'm building a new life and no longer in the public eye as it were, of simply removing the Wikipaedia post/article?

Thank you for any assistance and/or direction you can provide.
