Thanks for fixing ISBN formatting. I worked on those reports for a few years, but I became frustrated when the MediaWiki developers refused to fix Visual Editor bugs that kept inserting invalid formatting around ISBNs. Feel free to drop a note on my User talk page if you have any questions about quirky formatting or other ISBN issues.

One note: I don't know if you have encountered this one, but the CW reports contain false positives when the ISBN is correctly listed in the title of a citation, typically because the citation is for a review of a book. In order to get those false positives off of the report, I insert a nowiki tag. Wrapping the whole ISBN and number in nowiki tags does not remove the article from the CW reports. There may be a better way; a {{notatypo}} template may work also. – Jonesey95 (talk) 15:31, 12 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
