I haven't looked at any of the logs or the code yet, but my guess is that it's because you started the review at 00:25, and passed it 00:36. The bot runs on 20 minute intervals, so at 00:20 and at 00:40. It probably got confused and didn't expect an article to be passed without it ever being in an "in review" state. Hi, I've started porting the PHP scripts Legobot uses into Python. This is mainly so I'll be more comfortable fixing them, and will be able to take advantage of things like mwparserfromhell. Please let me know if you see any problematic changes in the behavior of these scripts or new bugs.

I am trying to extend an RfC on Talk:Phineas and Ferb (season 4) as we have not come to a consensus. I put a new RfC but you removed it twice saying it had expired. Please do not remove RfC tags when consensus has not been reached. user HH (talk) 03:23, 4 January 2015 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) @Hits hits: You refer to these edits: 03:00, 1 January 2015‎; 04:00, 1 January 2015‎; 05:00, 1 January 2015‎; 22:00, 3 January 2015; 04:00, 4 January 2015. The bot is working correctly - RfCs run for thirty days, and the bot removes an {{rfc}} template if the very next datestamp is more than thirty days ago.

The {{rfc}} was initially removed after thirty days and 51 minutes with this edit because the very next datestamp after the {{rfc}} was 01:09, 23 November 2014. Any {{rfc}} template added after that needs the next datestamp to be less than thirty days earlier than the time that the {{rfc}} is added. You removed the original start time with this edit, but since the next datestamp after the {{rfc}} was now 01:57, 23 November 2014, that merely moved the expiry time on from 01:09, 23 December 2014‎ to 01:57, 23 December 2014 - by just 48 minutes, and still in the past. --Redrose64 (talk) 13:36, 4 January 2015 (UTC)

Hi there. I saw with this edit, three GA nominations were removed, but only two appeared in the edit summary - the missing one being for Albert Bonass. The bot also failed to send the usual notification to the GA nominator, or add the {{Good article}} button to the successful page. At Wikipedia:WikiProject_Football/Article_alerts#GAN, two days on, the GA nomination is still showing as active. I wonder if something went wrong? Thanks, C679 15:22, 4 January 2015 (UTC)

From the inactive status of Task 15 on User:Legobot (and User_talk:Legobot/2014#failure to index talk archives) I assumed the indexing wasn't happening, but I've since been shown that it is; here, for example. When indexing transclusions of User:HBC Archive Indexerbot/OptIn, could you have the bot recognize |mask1=, |mask2=, |mask3=, ... so that this works? this will help with removing pages from Category:Pages using duplicate arguments in template calls. thank you. Does this bot perform indexing of talk page archives? The main page (User:Legobot) says that the function is "inactive", yet it did update the page Talk:Alan Turing/Archive index today (diff). or broken instructions. That page says "Please add nominations to the appropriate subtopic below". I did so. Your bot deleted the nomination. Now that I've noticed that, looking at this, it says to place the nomination on the article's talk page. Presumably the bot then maintains the GA nomination page by itself. However, that page only says the instructions are for the NEW REVIEWERS. Presumably, your bot is broken or NEW NOMINATORS is also intended? — LlywelynII 15:15, 12 March 2015 (UTC)

The instructions at WP:RFC seem to say that adding the RfC to the article's talk page will result in the discussion being listed by Legobot within a day. Am I simply reading the time frame as being too literal (it's been 28 hours) or did I perhaps botch the RfD? - SummerPhD (talk) 04:10, 1 April 2015 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) @SummerPhD: The {{rfc|pol}} is fine, and Legobot is running; but it hasn't done any RfC tasks (such as assigning a |rfcid= or updating pages like Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Politics, government, and law) since 14:00, 30 March 2015. Has anyone else noticed that LegoBot seems to be having difficulty with edit summaries on the GAN page? The same two articles have been listed as being on review/hold numerous times today. I took the liberty to convert User:GA bot/Stats into a wikitable mainly as a test. Most probably the bot will overwrite the table. Amy chance that in the future the wikitable is updated instead of the old html syntax? -- Magioladitis (talk) 08:15, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

Magioladitis I'm afraid the test has messed up big time - LegoBot keeps deleting the entire table everytime it updates and now all the users on Wikipedia's reviews have been wiped. According to the current stats I'm the only GA reviewer on Wikipedia with 1 review (instead of 186). I tried to fix it by reverting to the previous revision but it has not helped. I have seen more than one editor express confusion over the "(Reviews: 4)" entry format on the Wikipedia:Good article nominations page. Instead of "Article name (start review) (Reviews: 4) Editor name" it should probably be "Article name (start review) Editor name (Reviews: 4)". Otherwise people are confused and don't understand that the "(Reviews: 4)" refers to the nominating editor, not the nominated article. What do you think? Just what do I need to do to get Legobot to stop leaving me GA-related notices? I do not want them!. I was told a long time ago that the bot would ignore my talk page because I have the code to have it ignored by the defunct GA bot. Again, I must ask, how do I stop getting these notifications! I would like an answer. Failure to supply a way to stop these notifications will likely mean that I will completely stop nominating items for Good Article. What's going on? Although all archives are defined as masks at Talk:World War II, this bot is only indexing the posts at Talk:World War II, and not those in the archives (see: Talk:World War II/Archive Index). What is wrong? Vanjagenije (talk) 14:58, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

Bot used to update users on their user talk pages on final decision by the GA Reviewer (eg congratulating them on a Passed GA, etc).

But I noticed recently for Burnside Burn and others I reviewed that were nominated by Another Believer (talk · contribs) that it failed to post an update after the review was all done to User talk:Another Believer.

Any way to fix this?

Hi, I just updated Legobot to not use format=php for API requests per T118538. This is mainly an internal change, but has the potential to break a bunch of things. Specifically: GA bot, RfC bot, MfD archiver, AfD relists, and FRS bot. Please let me know if you notice anything out of the ordinary (or just...worse than usual). Hello. Talk:Christopher_Monckton,_3rd_Viscount_Monckton_of_Brenchley#RfC:_Mother_Jones_source was opened 15:52, 3 October 2015. The RfC template seemed to expand at article talk without error. The RfC is open at talk after 6 weeks but it is not listed as an open RfC. I can't find any history of it being listed under the blp or science subpages. My intention is therefore to remove the publication date from the image caption and then to replace it with either the 1st US (William Morrow) or 1st UK (Collins) cover which will be consistent with the author's earlier works, most of which were first published by Collins/Morrow, I trust that's OK...
