Never edited Brachychiton rupestris, Talk:Brachychiton rupestris/GA1 or the nominators talk pages. What went wrong? --AmaryllisGardener talk 01:14, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
Ongoing code updatesHi, I've started porting the PHP scripts Legobot uses into Python. This is mainly so I'll be more comfortable fixing them, and will be able to take advantage of things like mwparserfromhell. Please let me know if you see any problematic changes in the behavior of these scripts or new bugs. Already converted:

Legoktm (talk) 06:49, 3 January 2015 (UTC) RfC Phineas and FerbI am trying to extend an RfC on Talk:Phineas and Ferb (season 4) as we have not come to a consensus. I put a new RfC but you removed it twice saying it had expired. Please do not remove RfC tags when consensus has not been reached. user HH (talk) 03:23, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
AnomalyHi there. I saw with this edit, three GA nominations were removed, but only two appeared in the edit summary - the missing one being for Albert Bonass. The bot also failed to send the usual notification to the GA nominator, or add the {{Good article}} button to the successful page. At Wikipedia:WikiProject_Football/Article_alerts#GAN, two days on, the GA nomination is still showing as active. I wonder if something went wrong? Thanks, C679 15:22, 4 January 2015 (UTC) Indexing talk archivesFrom the inactive status of Task 15 on User:Legobot (and User_talk:Legobot/2014#failure to index talk archives) I assumed the indexing wasn't happening, but I've since been shown that it is; here, for example. Am I misunderstanding or should Task 15 be shown as "Active"?--SaskatchewanSenator (talk) 07:41, 15 January 2015 (UTC) Multiple mask parametersWhen indexing transclusions of User:HBC Archive Indexerbot/OptIn, could you have the bot recognize Template removalHi, can you tell me what caused Legobot to add the RFC ID and to then remove the template within the same minute?[1] I'm sure the error is mine, but am not sure where I erred. Thank You.--John Cline (talk) 16:57, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
No GANoticeI didn't get starting or closing {{GANotice}}s for Talk:Vainglory (video game)/GA1. Is it me or a bug? czar ⨹ 22:43, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
CGR Int'li logged in as CRG Int'l and requested a name change to GK at CRG. you commented twice that i need to log in as "CRG Int'l" and then change the name, which I've done already. I am not sure what is the problem. CRG Int'l (talk) 17:44, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
Changing user nameI'm currently blocked so I can't use my user account so I have to use my ip account. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.48.200.204 (talk) 13:53, 10 February 2015 (UTC) IndexingNot too long ago Legobot was indexing talk pages. Now it seems that the process has stopped (again). Could you take a look at this? Thanks. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 12:26, 13 February 2015 (UTC) Inappropriate Username: (FaZe) (OptIc) DAT PV$$Y MAST3RHello. I want to let you know that you say "No problems detected" when a user named (FaZe) (OptIc) DAT PV$$Y MAST3R wanted to change his username here. There's actually a problem within his username as he censored the word, "pussy", a slang term often used for female genitalia. Snowager (talk) 06:08, 21 February 2015 (UTC) February 2015
IndexingDoes this bot perform indexing of talk page archives? The main page (User:Legobot) says that the function is "inactive", yet it did update the page Talk:Alan Turing/Archive index today (diff). I tried to initiate indexing of my user talk archives (diff), but it didn't work. What's going on? Broken botor broken instructions. That page says "Please add nominations to the appropriate subtopic below". I did so. Your bot deleted the nomination. Now that I've noticed that, looking at this, it says to place the nomination on the article's talk page. Presumably the bot then maintains the GA nomination page by itself. However, that page only says the instructions are for the NEW REVIEWERS. Presumably, your bot is broken or NEW NOMINATORS is also intended? — LlywelynII 15:15, 12 March 2015 (UTC) Bizarre editIt was indeed a weird request, but I can't make heads or tails of this clerking message. Mdrnpndr (talk) 01:00, 31 March 2015 (UTC) Missing RfC at this pageThe instructions at WP:RFC seem to say that adding the RfC to the article's talk page will result in the discussion being listed by Legobot within a day. Am I simply reading the time frame as being too literal (it's been 28 hours) or did I perhaps botch the RfD? - SummerPhD (talk) 04:10, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
A potential hiatusHas anyone else noticed that LegoBot seems to be having difficulty with edit summaries on the GAN page? The same two articles have been listed as being on review/hold numerous times today. Hopefully this is known about, but I thought I'd mention it in case it hadn't been picked up. This is Paul (talk) 16:49, 3 April 2015 (UTC) GA bot/StatsI took the liberty to convert User:GA bot/Stats into a wikitable mainly as a test. Most probably the bot will overwrite the table. Amy chance that in the future the wikitable is updated instead of the old html syntax? -- Magioladitis (talk) 08:15, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
Good article nominations "(Reviews: 4)"I have seen more than one editor express confusion over the "(Reviews: 4)" entry format on the Wikipedia:Good article nominations page. Instead of "Article name (start review) (Reviews: 4) Editor name" it should probably be "Article name (start review) Editor name (Reviews: 4)". Otherwise people are confused and don't understand that the "(Reviews: 4)" refers to the nominating editor, not the nominated article. What do you think? See the most recent discussion at Wikipedia:Good_article_help#How do I look at the reviews of nominees?. Cheers. Prhartcom (talk) 02:15, 26 May 2015 (UTC) Formalized complaintJust what do I need to do to get Legobot to stop leaving me GA-related notices? I do not want them!. I was told a long time ago that the bot would ignore my talk page because I have the code to have it ignored by the defunct GA bot. I've even added Legobot to that template, but I still keep getting notices. Please tell me whatever we need to do to get this rectified. Imzadi 1979 → 02:29, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

What, exactly, is breaking? The "default continuation mode" for action=query requests to api.php will be changing to be easier for new coders to use correctly. To find out whether your script or bot may be affected, then search the source code (including any frameworks or libraries) for the string "query-continue". If that is not present, then the script or bot is not affected. In a few cases, the code will be present but not used. In that case, the script or bot will continue working. This change will be part of 1.26wmf12. It will be deployed to test wikis (including mediawiki.org) on 30 June, to non-Wikipedias (such as Wiktionary) on 1 July, and to all Wikipedias on 2 July 2015. If your bot or script is receiving the warning about this upcoming change (as seen at https://www.mediawiki.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=allpages ), it's time to fix your code!
Either of the above solutions may be tested immediately, you'll know it works because you stop seeing the warning. Do you need help with your own bot or script? Ask questions in e-mail on the mediawiki-api or wikitech-l mailing lists. Volunteers at m:Tech or w:en:WP:Village pump (technical) or w:en:Wikipedia:Bot owners' noticeboard may also be able to help you. Are you using someone else's gadgets or user scripts? Most scripts are not affected. To find out if a script you use needs to be updated, then post a note at the discussion page for the gadget or the talk page of the user who originally made the script. IndexingWhat's going on? Although all archives are defined as masks at Talk:World War II, this bot is only indexing the posts at Talk:World War II, and not those in the archives (see: Talk:World War II/Archive Index). What is wrong? Vanjagenije (talk) 14:58, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

Bot used to update users on final decision...Bot used to update users on their user talk pages on final decision by the GA Reviewer (eg congratulating them on a Passed GA, etc). But I noticed recently for Burnside Burn and others I reviewed that were nominated by Another Believer (talk · contribs) that it failed to post an update after the review was all done to User talk:Another Believer. Any way to fix this? Thank you, — Cirt (talk) 16:30, 7 October 2015 (UTC) Tawang MonasteryThis artcile has been approved as GA. But there is no message about it on my talk page either when its review starts or after its approval. This has happened with all my GANs. Can you kindly rectify this problem.--Nvvchar. 00:31, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
Code updateHi, I just updated Legobot to not use RfC listed?Hello. Talk:Christopher_Monckton,_3rd_Viscount_Monckton_of_Brenchley#RfC:_Mother_Jones_source was opened 15:52, 3 October 2015. The RfC template seemed to expand at article talk without error. The RfC is open at talk after 6 weeks but it is not listed as an open RfC. I can't find any history of it being listed under the blp or science subpages. Was there some typo in the RfC template such that the Legobot missed it? Please help. Thank you. Season of Doubt imageHi QuiteUnusual, Although Amazon.com says this is the first edition cover http://www.amazon.com/Season-Doubt-Jon-Cleary/dp/B000J016LS with a publication date of 1st January 1968 it says the same about the HarperCollins hardback - http://www.amazon.com/Season-Doubt-Jon-Cleary/dp/B000J016LS and mass market paperback - http://www.amazon.com/Season-Doubt-Jon-Cleary/dp/B000TYUMUK Moreover amazon.co.uk has what looks like the same cover as being published in 1990 - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Season-Doubt-Jon-Cleary/dp/0006178790 My intention is therefore to remove the publication date from the image caption and then to replace it with either the 1st US (William Morrow) or 1st UK (Collins) cover which will be consistent with the author's earlier works, most of which were first published by Collins/Morrow, I trust that's OK... Thanks GrahamHardy (talk) 22:38, 18 November 2015 (UTC)
Bot persistence problemPlease see Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions #RFC Bot Won't Quit. I added {{bots|deny=Legobot}} to the talk page in question and Legobot posted yet another RFC notice there after that.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 08:23, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
