If you have already nominated an article for speedy deletion, and such a nomination was declined, please do not nominate it for speedy again, as you did here: [1]. Rather, if you still feel the article requires deletion, nominate it at the appropriate XfD forum (for a draft, that is WP:MFD). Of course this does not apply if the author of the article removes the speedy tag; they're not permitted to do that, so in that case you may reinstate the nomination. Hi, from your edit I conclude you have access to NYT content. The previous version said "Ronald Graham, who had offered $500 for a proof, was about to mail a check to the authors." However, in page Gilbert–Pollak conjecture, user:Tomoddajr claims "Ronald Graham sent a $500 check to Ding-Zhu Du as a gesture recognizing what was thought to be a major breakthrough" citing the same Gina Kolata NYT article. Can you double-check this factoid and fix the article Gilbert–Pollak conjecture, if necessary? --Altenmann >talk 16:21, 7 June 2025 (UTC)

I have access to NYT content through Proquest via Wikipedialibrary. Any wikipedia user can use this free service provided their account is more than 6 months old and have 500 edits and no current blocks, and the Wikipedialibrary gives access to a lot of collections from Elsevier, Cambridge University Press and Nature to Proquest and Newspaperarchives.
