Instead of detaching the SIP Animation header, detach the page with the produced shows

The idea of separating these shows into separate pages is both illogical and unfair. Because the shows are listed on the page even though C&D or Marvel Productions also have their own pages. All of the shows produced before the SIP rebranding were produced under the name of Saban Entertainment, and after the rebranding, all ownership of the company belongs to Saban's successor company BVS. There is no need for the SIP page to be separate. Let's combine these two pages and move all the tv series and films produced into a separate page. Separating the SIP Animation page was a good idea back then, but it is a wrong idea today because it divides the library into two pages. Shows produced by BVS Entertainment and all its subsidiaries should be on a single page. GRPHX-TREME (talk) 23:41, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Saban International Paris was a separate company and animation studio. Why are you still going over this? Luigitehplumber (talk) 00:34, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's obvious that we disagree on this issue. So I have to accept your opinion? GRPHX-TREME (talk) 00:39, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You don’t really seem to understand. Think about Disney for a second, it would be confusing if Walt Disney Animation Studios was part of the Walt Disney Pictures page because they’re two completely different divisions. SIP was the same for Saban/BVS except that they only owned a minorty stake. It would also make the Saban page way, way too long by cramming in everything into a single page. Luigitehplumber (talk) 00:43, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree on this but the library should be on a single page. In other words, there are not many productions here; listing them in the same place will not lengthen the page. In fact, the same should be done for New World Pictures. I don't think this will make the page longer. Take a look, I did something like this, it will shorten both pages, if you don't like it, you can take it back.
List of television series and films by BVS Entertainment
If you would like to improve the page or correct any deficiencies, I would be happy. We are all trying to provide more accurate and consistent information here. GRPHX-TREME (talk) 00:54, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, that’s what you meant. That’s fine with me. I’ll be happy to help out with the program page. Luigitehplumber (talk) 00:56, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You are very kind. Thank you very much. Do you think library status should be under this page? GRPHX-TREME (talk) 00:59, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don’t know, to be honest. Maybe look through the pages to see what looks cleaner. Luigitehplumber (talk) 01:01, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So we will learn this by trying over time. Have a nice day. GRPHX-TREME (talk) 01:09, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

    About your edits to Ponyo

Hey LTPHarry, thanks for your contributions to this article! I wanted to let you know that you inserted references in the form of bare URLs, which are undesirable for a number of reasons. I've cleaned up the links this time around, but I'd highly recommend using citation templates in a way that complies with the relevant guidelines in the future. Let me know if you have any questions! Extending the StudioCanal article

I recently extended the StudioCanal after someone added the more information text back in March 2024. I expanded the history section by adding the company buying companies to expand its operations. 148.252.144.19 (talk) 16:57, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

    Infobox Television

As I told BaldiBasicsFan, I'm not liking this new guideline about not listing animation studios. It doesn't make sense to assume every animated series was subcontracted instead of co-production without solid evidence. Because of this unfair guideline, I can't even look at my favorite animated shows and I don't mean watching the articles on them. If you want to follow it, be my guest. - FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 05:02, 2 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'll be honest with you, I'm not a fan of it either; mainly for the same reasons you stated. I think BaldiBasicsFan did say to me that he was thinking about asking to add a section for animation production/distributors or whatnot, but I don't how how that's going to work. Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2 Publisher

    Hi @LTPHarry;

Thanks for your edit on Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2. I just wanted some clarification about the publisher. While I agree that the Gold Coast Bulletin source is vague and lists Atari as a Developer, Atari's Australian archived website lists themselves as a publisher. Perhaps they were the distributor in Europe and publisher in Australia?

If you have a better source for the publishers please do share, much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    IngeniousPachyderm (talk) 02:23, 5 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, never mind, I didn't even notice the publisher section on the Atari Australia website when I looked on there when I edited the page. Unless you've already done so, I'll be happy to revert my edits. Luigitehplumber (talk) 02:45, 5 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No worries! My only lingering concern is who published the game in Europe. I've found this box art that has the Atari logo on the back for the EU / UK release. But I guess Atari just distributed it through the Namco Bandai Partners?
    IngeniousPachyderm (talk) 03:03, 5 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sort of. At the time, Atari (Infogrames) had a global distribution arm, which was later incorporated into the joint venture with Namco Bandai, initially known as "Distribution Partners." They later acquired it from Atari outright and renamed it Namco Bandai Partners. Until then, Atari/Infogrames had distributed all of Bandai's video games in all PAL-region territories from 2001 because they didn’t have a European-based distribution branch, and this continued after the merger with Namco, which also lacked a distribution arm in Europe. Luigitehplumber (talk) 03:09, 5 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thank you very much for the detailed explanation!
    IngeniousPachyderm (talk) 03:38, 5 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. The last thing to add on was that after the release of Afro Samurai in March 2009, Namco Bandai Games titles distributed through Atari didn’t have their logo or even mention them on the packaging aside from the manual. I would call this the transition period because that was when Atari announced their exit from the PAL-region distribution market. Then after July 2009, Namco Bandai Partners would be the main distributor for NBG and Atari titles in Europe. There were occasional times when NBG still went with another company, for example Go Vacation, released in 2011, was distributed by Nintendo of Europe. However after Namco Bandai Partners was merged and folded into Namco Bandai Games Europe's own operations in 2013, that’s when they finally were able to distribute their own games.
