Hello, I would like to clear up some things. You've reverted my edits on Furina and Raiden Shogun because "It specifically specifies which are guesses on the part of the staff, and Furina's is not included in that. Can you please stop having a meltdown over this?" Please point out to me which ones are guesses on part of the staff, as the note in the article only states "Most heights are estimated based on in-game comparisons and several ages are based on player speculation. Specific notes are below the chart." Those specific notes do not specify which heights, according to you, are not estimates, and Furina and the Raiden Shogun are included in the same chart as all other current characters.

@Jaguarnik The Gamer, while yes it's Valnet, still bothers to actually fact check. Granted it's also been a frequently targeted aspect of the article by several IPs, and given how you went about it I assumed that was more of the same, so apologies. That said I apparently misread the bit about most heights being speculative. I still believe that information has an importance in the article to give a proper reference (especially since, to my knowledge this is the ONLY valid reference for such we have), but "approximately" may be better wording with that consideration. @Zxcvbnm: I just copied everything over and fixed all the links, set up a disambig page there. It can probably be broadened a bit with some of the other Cait Sith's in anime, but I'll leave that for someone else.

Letting you know also because I reckon you usually aren't aware until the new article list hits, but revived Characters of Final Fantasy V and I'm slowly fixing it up. I know that was one you had some disdain for in the past, but I feel there's enough reception now to give it some body, and we have access to the various ultimianias to cut down on the plot cruft steadily. @SFreader1: All those sources while they discuss Sunny are strictly doing so in the scope of the game. It's similar to why we don't do character articles based strictly off reviews usually, as for a character article to work you need to illustrate some importance/notability separate from the parent subject. Case in point look at The Narrator for The Stanley Parable, where you can see on the talk page a similar merge proposal occurred and it was put back. It's not that "you need more" and just have to wait for more sources, it's that the foundation isn't going to work at all with what you have to that end. @SFreader1: No, not really. All these refs you keep throwing out are illustrating why Omori is significant, but not an examination or illustration of why Sunny is important separate of that work. You're trying to brute force it by showing "Well they discuss him here!" but missing the context as to why. Discussions about character design for example (that aren't in the greater context of Omori) can illustrate that for example. I get you really want this article out, but there's nothing indicating why it should be separate from the parent work, especially when the reception section as you have it strictly revolves around a lot of how Omori is as a game.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 13:20, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Following this discussion with (Oinkers42), I thought the categories you removed from Galarian Weezing, Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Mr. Mime, Hisuian Zoroark, Hisuian Voltorb, Hisuian Typhlosion, Alolan Raichu, Alolan Ninetales, Mega Gengar, Mega Pinsir, Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mawile, Mega Lucario, Mega Gyarados, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Garchomp, Mega Charizard Y and Mega Charizard X were okay. So we should add Category:Fictional fairies to Weezing or Category:Video game characters with ice or cold abilities to Mr. Mime?

I would say yes. The Regis for example are a different case because those are separate entities covered by a group article, but Megas end up being more temp transformations. I am a bit on the fence regarding the Alolans, but partly overall why we've been trying to avoid redirects getting general categories is because it rapidly leads to bloat: imagine someone adding categories to every Mario or Zelda enemy redirect with that reasoning, for example.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 17:53, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I designed a infobox myself for both characters with the intent of using a singular image containing both of them (which was in "Development and design" section of Michelle's article).
