A tag has been placed on LGBTQ Production of Family requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Administrators can now nuke pages created by a user or IP address from the last 90 days, up from the initial 30 days. T380846
A 'Recreated' tag will now be added to pages that were created with the same title as a page which was previously deleted and it can be used as a filter in Special:RecentChanges and Special:NewPages. T56145
I was in the process of responding to this question on the talk page, please stop edit warring to get your preferred content into the article. I will finish my response and ping you at the talk page for further discussion. JeffSpaceman (talk) 21:52, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
Hi! I have a question about the deletion on the page about "Annexing Canada". I added the phrase "Canada is a sovereign nation. It is not for sale". You removed it because you said it was not neutral. I believe both of these statements are facts. Canada is a sovereign nation, and it has not been put up for sale. What makes these "not neutral"?
Hello, thank you for discussing this. I think I worded that comment wrong -- the problem isn't that it's non-neutral, the issue is that it does not adhere to the Manual of Style on Wikipedia. What you added does not belong at the beginning of the article, if it is to be included, it should come later, though I feel that the inclusion of Trudeau's words about Canadian annexation at the end of the lede sums up the fact that the country likely will not be for sale any time soon. JeffSpaceman (talk) 17:21, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
Thanks so much for your response. I definitely want to abide by Wikipedia's formatting standards - can you point me to the part of your linked resource that talks about appropriate contents of the summary? I mostly see things about stylistic requirements, not content. I did find one relevant quote - that the top section should be "a concise summary of the article", and I honestly think that "Canada is a sovereign nation" is the most concise summary one could give on the subject of annexation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.211.217.4 (talk) 08:53, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
Of course, you can see the guidelines about this at WP:SUMMARY. Additionally, while not a policy or guideline, feel free to check out WP:Short description, an information page that does offer some content about how the use of page summaries on Wikipedia through short descriptions. Feel free to let me know if these answer any lingering questions you may have. JeffSpaceman (talk) 12:21, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
A request for comment is open to discuss whether AI-generated images (meaning those wholly created by generative AI, not human-created images modified with AI tools) should be banned from use in articles.
A new filter has been added to the Special:Nuke tool, which allows administrators to filter for pages in a range of page sizes (in bytes). This allows, for example, deleting pages only of a certain size or below. T378488
Non-administrators can now check which pages are able to be deleted using the Special:Nuke tool. T376378
In the past, putting bluelinks in section headings has broken the archive bot on occasion. I'm not sure if that's still the case or not, but putting the userlinks/articlelinks at the top of the section is a good way to do it instead. - The BushrangerOne ping only20:55, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
Thank you for letting me know. I never knew about that, I will try to keep it in mind going forward. Sorry for causing a stir at ANI, I felt that my initial comment was being refactored, but I will take care to not fight over edits that really aren't worth it in the future. JeffSpaceman (talk) 21:42, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
Just so you know…
Hi, just so you know, the edit you reverted was a genuine attempt to improve the article by removing information that was not relevant to the main point of the paragraph and adding helpful commentary. I don’t mind you deciding to revert my attempt to improve the article, but suggesting it is vandalism is unfair. 2A00:23C8:3D81:7801:1D6B:EDE3:4B41:C7E0 (talk) 21:34, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
Sorry about that, I think I misread your edit as suggesting that transgender people were more likely to be felons. As a queer-identifying editor, I tend to be very apprehensive when I see anonymous editors show up on LGBTQ-related articles -- as your very true comment to me shows, I should probably calm down a little in that regard. I'm sorry for any disrespect. JeffSpaceman (talk) 21:40, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
Hello, JeffSpaceman. The edit was summarized with rv/v (vandalism). Reverted to prior version due to vandalism. The 8 Nov 2024 page version was already flagged for vandalism, and rightly so. The page was reverted to the most recent version prior to the vandalism flag. Thank you! 2605:59C8:449E:F410:AC3C:B5BF:EAFD:1214 (talk) 21:50, 19 March 2025 (UTC)
Understood, at first glance I just didn't get why you removed an entire section that appeared to include reliable sourcing, but given that one of the sources is a YouTube link on a WP:BLP article, I have restored to your revision. Thank you for pointing this out. JeffSpaceman (talk) 22:09, 19 March 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for the heads up. I'm not totally sure if this website meets our sourcing guidelines (see WP:RS), so I have started a discussion at the reliable sources noticeboard, which you can join in to make a case for its inclusion here. I thank you for offering the source you used, but I do want to see what others think. JeffSpaceman (talk) 11:57, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
Carter Vail
Thanks for your efforts getting rid of the vandalism. Honestly kind of funny to see my work getting noticed by the actual article subjects, but the wave of vandalism is not as funny. wizzito | say hello!11:23, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
Thank you for your compliment! And I agree, as amusing as it is to see the article subject recognize content, the vandalism campaign that can come out of that is definitely not. Funny thing, while on this topic; as a young person who generally avoids short-form entertainment like TikTok, I only learned that this was deliberately coordinated when I received a text from a friend while in the process of reverting the dozens of disruptive edits on the article. They managed to discover that the subject's YouTube channel featured a new short in which he encouraged fans to go on his page and change content, which led me to immediately go to WP:RFPP to put an end to this nonsense (sidenote: there were apparently also quite a few comments on the short trashing me for removing their edits). Am I already an old man at 22 for disapproving of such behavior? 🤔 JeffSpaceman (talk) 12:15, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
I believe he also posted on Instagram about it as well. Disapproving of vandalism doesn't make you an old man - it makes you a Wikipedian lol. There's still some info missing from the page that I couldn't find sources for (e.g. most of his discography and his birthdate), so I'm trying to reach out to these new editors and help them add actual constructive info to the page. wizzito | say hello!13:07, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
And now an IP is mad enough at the article getting locked to get blocked for spamming talk pages with bullshit. Maybe Vail should know that his fans are doing this. wizzito | say hello!14:28, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
Requesting discussion regarding edits to a newly added section "LGBTQ+ stances." While the individual comments may be provable, the bulk of the claims come from a single source article authored by an individual with a vested interest in a competing school that leans fundamentalist. The truth is that neither Nazarene Theological Seminary, nor the denomination (the Church of the Nazarene) are affirming of LGBTQ+ human beings. The section in question could lead some to falsely believe the seminary to be a space welcome to affirmation of LGBTQ+ human beings, but that is false. Clergy have had clerical credentials and membership stripped for holding openly affirming positions. Naz1908 (talk) 14:58, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
Thank you for discussing this. I appreciate your pointing out that the source supporting this content has an apparent conflict of interest, I will stop reverting your changes per your comments. Once again, thanks for being open to discussing this with me. JeffSpaceman (talk) 15:01, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
Requesting discussion regarding edits to Karen Attiah's biography, whose unfounded allegations of Anti-Semitism goes against the Biographies of Living person policy.
Unsourced negative material is supposed to be removed, unless it can be sourced and presented neutrally. The video in question was made by a right wing video group and the video was selectively edited. To suggest this is anti-Semitism-- when the video in question was taken at a book event discussing Jewish people, faith, and freedom is defamatory and politically biased. Attiah has already addressed the misrepresentation on Twitter and removal is enforcing Wikipedia's standards. Would appreciate your assistance on this matter, thank you. 98.49.219.130 (talk) 17:01, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

Of course! I can totally relate, too -- I can't even count the number of times I stepped away from Wikipedia only for vandalism on a page to get completely out of control... JeffSpaceman (talk) 22:23, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
i have come to say i have no relation to the ip that added my name to the pikmin article i may of pissed off some ips yesterday after reverting their vandalism so it could be them trying to frame me????? i honestly dont knowlocalBluepikmin (whistle the pikmin) 15:08, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
